A hidden gem of a wood! Plenty of easy to moderate difficulty tracks to get lost on! Only a few tricky spots when wet - the rest of the streams and boggy spots have been well tended to with bridges and walk ways. A beautiful spot!

Gorgeous wall from the car park down to the reservoir, where we talked to a fisherman who told us a few stories of his times on the little pricier for the fishermen. And across the road across the heathland with views of the tracks, you could walk for miles. Lovely way to spend some time out with the dogs
