St. Aidan's RC Church

I was baptised at this beautiful church, Saint Aidans. My children went to the locals, same name at Saint Aidens. My children have holy communion at this beautiful church they were baptised. Then the big day me and my beautiful wife Andrea Sproston nee Matthews Were married here. Then, for passing of my Auntie, Nancy Judge Who was very popular in the community of this church life. Then unfortunately, my mother, Rita Bridget Sproston nee Murry. Was laid to rest from this church. Just a little funny story if you don’t mind.When I decided to ask Andrea to marry my mother could not find my baptism certificate. And this happened, we had to contact Father Birdwhistle he arranged for Andrea and myself to attend the church at 7 pm on a very dark cold evening. So he took us to the altar, and he said I would have to baptise you obviously so as a grown man with my future wife next to me, he basically poured a full jug of water over my head twice We still laugh about it this day, it was so funny I hope you like my little tribute to my favourite church Saint Aidans from the Manchester,, 23 area

Lovley church nice friendly people will look forward to making new friends socializeing and Sunday mass . Feel happy and loved mass on my first day .

Lovely church and it does so much for the community. It's a lifeline for so many people.

Being new to the church I was made to feel very welcome. Nice to sit and chat over coffee after mass. It really is a very nice friendly church.
