Phototronics

I don’t know why schools are still using this company. There are far better photographers out there who actually care about what they are processing and the customer experience. Phototronics are very old school both in terms of their poses but also the ordering system. You have to complete a paper slip to send back. I’ve had problems previously where they said I had written the wrong card number down so if I wanted the photos I had to pay a late fee to re-do it. It was just their inability to read.This year I asked if they did downloads of photos, no only available on a CD. Not sure they realise we’re in 2022. I was allowed to send a brand new unpackaged USB for them to put it onto but it was going to be the same price! My youngest daughter goes to a different school and their photographer (Debbie Young) is so much better. You get a choice of photos to choose from, all paid for on her website and so much easier to manage.

Rubbish photo company for schools. Don’t sort kids collars out for photos and leave their hair all infront of their face and try to charge a fortune

After receiving my eldest daughters school photo I'm rather disgusted the fact the photo is terrible and according to my 9 year old daughter the photographer constantly touched her. In what day in age is it even necessary to touch children for a photo, verbal commands would be sufficient. Won't be purchasing anything. Please avoid!!! #billinghamsouthprimaryschool

Every year the school photos have been below par. The lighting and positioning is always really bad. We've had terrible smiles, half closed eyes, sibling photos always look like they are mid argument. With one of my children being in her final year of primary, I was really hoping this year would be different. But it wasn't. At the catch up session she was in a group photo and I'm confident the photographer but the group in a time machine back to 1987 to take the photo. I could have done a better job using my phone. Needless to say I won't be ordering again this year and will take both my children somewhere else to capture this final year.

Wish there was more stars I can give. The photos I have are amazing. Perfect infact. Every time I get a photo they are always brilliant.

Recently, my two girls went for an individual picture at school. I am disappointed with the quality & lack of care of the photographer. Their hair were a mess and the girls are not even smiling. He or she could’ve coached the girls to smile or even tuck a bit of the hair that’s on their face. The girls are not even in the middle of the picture. I would never buy a photo from them again. I could’ve taken the photo myself considering the amount of money they charged. Lack of skills, care and perfection is definitely not the core values of this company.

The photos themselves are lovely, however, I was really disappointed with the note book. The photo came loose for me to put in myself. It did come with sticky stuff but this didn't even hold the photo in place beyond the gift being opened. What should have been a lovely gift turned out to be quite shabby. Won't be ordering again.

Photograph taken first day back after summer break, I ordered a 30.50 pack which left my account 5th Oct . It’s now 14th December and still waiting. Absolutely shocking , I agree with previous comment as to why schools still use them

Very disappointed with both my children's school photos, as are a number of other parents from the school. My daughter and others Said they were rushed through. My daughters hair had a huge lump out of place and a patch that looks bald, and no one bothered to tell her. My son's teeth look gray and his lips look white and his tie is hanging off. So many bad reviews and still they haven't bothered to do anything about it.My sons first year in senior school & my daughters last. Not another photo opportunity I will get again, very sad.Refused to rectify anything as I couldn't speak over the phone, only email. Shambles of a companyEdit- i ended up ordering my son's photo with a note to edit the way they made his teeth and lips look, gray, it hasn't been done, another reason to avoid this company!
