Mike and Kate of Attwood Funerals provided our family with a professional but kind and considerate service throughout. As soon as we first made contact with Kate, we knew we had chosen the right funeral directors for our needs - and we had spoken to others previously. Although not the most important consideration their costs were so reasonable – but this did not mean a reduced commitment on their part. All arrangements were discussed and explained to us and then organised without fuss. If we did have any queries such as details on the order of service, they were dealt with promptly and respectfully. The service for my Mom at Wyre Forest crematorium was quiet, calm, and moving. Mike had created an excellent order of service using our photos of Mom and he ensured the safe arrival of Mom’s coffin, assisting our own bearers to the catafalque, while Kate, as Celebrant, led the service with great kindness and conveyed our feelings about Mom so sensitively. My sister recently lost her husband, Trevor and she asked me if I could help with his funeral. I chose Attwood Funerals and I have to say that the service they provided was exceptional.They are professional, non-judgemental and very caring people; nothing is too much trouble. They answered queries and emails promptly and I can say I didn't have to worry about anything as they had it all in hand. Attwood's prices are also very competitive (I know because I have lost 3 family members during the last 8 years).Their Celebrant, Kate, is a lovely lady and the service she conducted at the Crematorium was just perfect. I had people come up to me afterwards asking who conducted the service, as it was so personal to Trevor. I would not hesitate at all in recommending Attwood Funerals.

At what was a very overwhelming time for my family, all of the team at this family run business showed us the utmost patience and kindness, especially when we felt unable to make even the most basic of decisions straight away. All of our questions were answered quickly and our requests were met with pleasure. Kate took a lot of time to hear my dad's story, thus being able to make the service a very personal one. Mike respectfully walking in front of the hearse at home and at the crematorium was especially touching and felt very fitting for my dad who was so important to all of his family. The service sheet they produced was of a very high quality, beautifully replicating dad's photographs. Their costs are very reasonable, some of which (such as the crematorium) are out of their control anyway. Thank you to Kate, Mike and Sam for all of your help at such a sad time.

I would highly recommend Attwood's for any family coping with bereavement and organising a funeral for a loved one. Mike, Sam and Kate are so supportive and respectful and take care of everything calmly and with such dignity.From the moment I placed the call to Sam following my dad's death we received the most amazing support and kindness from the whole team. They were there to guide us through every step of the way arranging everything with the crematorium, recommending an amazing florist and organising a very special motorbike hearse to give my dad a unique send off.Kate is an amazing service celebrant and she worked closely with me on dad’s eulogy and on the day struck the perfect tone with her words and quiet calmness that put us all at our ease.Mike’s support meant that we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day and were told exactly what would happen and what we needed to do and when at what is often a very distressing and confusing time.I can't recommend the services of Attwood’s highly enough, they've been absolutely brilliant and we would have been lost without them. They helped give my dad a send off he would have loved that truly did him justice.

We had some advice from a close family friend, she helped guide us through this difficult time.Her contacts recommended Attwoods Funerals in Kidderminster and from the beginning of this process and throughout the attention to every aspect was dealt with in a very professional manner yet with compassion and empathy. They always referred to our mother by her first name and never by 'the deceased' to Mike, Kate and Samantha we send our regards and our thanks for being there when we needed them during this sad time.

When I first contacted Kate on the day my Grandfather passed away, I had a million questions and we were after (I hate the word basic) but basically a simple funeral.From the moment they came to collect him from the house, they brought rosemary for everyone, what a nice gesture, very sympathetic and they obviously do this a lot, however they made the whole experience as though we were the only ones they were dealing with.I liked Kate from the start, very warming to speak to.Right up until the service, just throughly professional and traditionalMike was very professional and walked ahead of the hearse along part of his final journey - we were overwhelmed with that gesture.Kate conducted the service and again, felt like she communicated grandads warm personality in her speech.They are certainly not over priced either and we could not recommend them highly enoughThanks Kate and MikeBest wishesPauline, Lynette, Jayne & Louise
