If I could give less I would, this feedback is mostly in relation to the attitude of the sales, management & pathetic customer service. I spent over £6k with this company just over a year ago and the purchase was supposed to include a 5 year protection plan.One of my sofas has a whole arm that has completely lost its colour, I phoned the insurance people to ask what can be done to rectify it, they said I didn't have a plan in place and even if I did the plan wouldn't cover it because its a fault with the leather and sealant and the manufacturer should rectify it.I rang Distinctive Chesterfields London and explained the situation and emailed all the details which they just ignored even after repeated (8) chaser emails and (6) phone calls. They eventually palmed it off to the Northern office who were just as bad and dismissive.It would appear they are charging for protection plans but not actually supplying them, hoping the customer wont notice! This in my eye's is FRAUD! Even when challenged they refused to accept responsibility/acknowledge for not setting up the policy. and said that I am now covered, 3 weeks later still nothing received and no cover!I requested a local leather repair specialist to assess the situation & quote accordingly. They came back and said it's a fault of the colouring and leather sealant and because of its location on the arm it has accelerated the fading. They quoted £360 for fixing the fault and sealing it properly.Absolutely disgusting behaviour from Distinctive Chesterfields. They are all nice and helpful whilst selling as soon as they get your money nothing and rude! This is quiet obvious NOW whilst reading other reviews!*** In general do not buy from Distinctive Chesterfields, dishonest & rude seller ***I for one will never buy from them again and suggest you don't either.

Placed two orders in the past 18 months.Product quality on first order good.Awaiting second order.Customer service really let's down the product (to a point where i would struggle to recommend the company).In both cases delivery dates have been delayed by a month +.The excuse for both orders problem obtaining materials"... The first order was pre C-19 so the excuse the second time is lacking creativity.We where given a delivery date so plans where made to accommodate the new furniture (Bed frame).Late friday afternoon (2 working days before expected delivery) we where informed of a 6 week delay cause of material problems.Accommodating delays is something we all accept given the current climate.. but issuing notification of a 6 week delay 2 days prior to the confirmed delivery date is unacceptable.Upon raising my dissatisfaction with DC the response was offhandish at best with no offering to improve the situation.We are now sleeping on the floor for the foreseeable future."

Customer service has been excellentAndrieu has been so helpful suggesting the type of sofa for me and locating different fabrics so the choice has been fantasticI am giving this five stars although as yet I’m waiting for the cushions to plump completely as apparently they will ! I want comfort all the way !!!My only niggle was that when the sofa arrived the cushions were hard and I was really stressing !However this is apparently normal as they need plumping initially. And it takes time etc !I think this info would be helpful with delivery .The delivery guys were super polite and well mannered . Great company and well worth it

Avoid at all costs..if only a zero rating was possible. The workmanship of the actual pieces that arrive is shocking to say the least. We purchased 3 pieces from the London studio after spending £4000, all was good until the delivery day arrived. Bad pleats, damaged feet, creased velvet, creaking sounds the list is never ending. After much back and forth the sofas were collected to be ‘repaired’. To our horror, they came back with little improvement !!! The regional manager point blank refused to take the sofas back and simply said the quality was acceptable. What makes things worse is we kept all the original photos from the studio and the sofas look complete different ! Again no solution provided. Reluctantly we accepted that we had no recourse, now a few months later the pleats have stared to come undone again. Please, please please avoid this outfit. We are now in the conversation with a furniture ombudsman and we fear the only action left is legal.

2nd purchase, very happy - but as other reviews say, prepared to wait a bit longer. This is my second purchase of a leather sofa which went about as well as the first, two years ago, pre-COVID. In both cases the delivery was delayed by about a month due to lack of availability of materials, but it wasn't more than a month. But yeah, if you're ordering, add a month to your expected delivery time. I've always received good customer service from them and the delivery men are personable and polite. But the sofas and the footstool both look great, very happy with the quality. Both sofas have stood up to my dog - vomit, dirt, mud, and all. No obvious scratches as she bounces up, over, and off of them constantly.

Terrible delivery and product. Chair shows up broken and I had to store the broken product for 4 months until a replacement arrives which it still hasn’t. Now to the couch. I paid for upgraded leather and springs and entire sitting area failed within a month w kids using it. Cracked and popped and sunk. I literally through it on sidewalk for bulk trash collection. Never buy this garbage.

The whole journey with Distinctive Chesterfields was a lovely experience from beginning to end. The staff in the showroom were extremely polite and very helpful in helping us choose our Sofa’s and footstall. The quality and finish of our new Chesterfields is outstanding. The delivery of the sofa was very efficient along with a very polite manner by the delivery team.Highly recommend Distinctive Chesterfields.

Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering as my issues seem to be a common with the other reviews below. Terrible craftsmanship along with the item arriving dirty (!), scuffed and scratched. Appalling customer service. The only praise was that my refund was processed promptly. Just avoid and go elsewhere.
