Wow ! This hotel is beautiful. They have kept all the original features and it's stunning. We'll presented modern rooms with underfloor heating. Restaurant has a great menu and the service is very attentive. Breakfast was as you would expect lots of hot and cold choices including pastries. Pool area is lovely. My only complaint about the pool is disabled access to changing rooms is difficult if you can't walk well but they do provide a disabled loo / changing room on pool level as a back up. The pool changing area is a bit dated but I'm sure they're getting to that you can see they've done a lot already. My mum loved it she wants to go back we went as a birthday treat.

We came here for a staff Christmas party. It was probably the worst food I’ve had in my 47 years of being on this planet. I have attached a photo so you can see. Really really horrible and an absolute ripoff (I paid £60 for this). We are local to Brighton and have been here before but it’s never been this bad. I think I got off lucky compared to someone who had the vegan version. I wish I’d taken a picture of that as it was even worse. Just totally unacceptable. If I could give zero I would! To make matters worse the entertainment was borderline demeaning to women and the waiter spilt the boiling hot gravy over my husband’s suit.

Pretty good hotel but was unlucky to have a party next to my room for one hour 02-03 in the morning. noticed the ventilation/ ceilings are open in between.Would recommend the hotel but be careful if it's big weekends/ holidays and you want a quite stay.

Very disappointed. They claim to be dog friendly but we could not take our dog into either the bar or any part of the restaurant, which made breakfast impossible. The only option we were offered was a seat on the terrace (blowing a gale and beside main road) So different to previous Hilton experiences with the dog.

Great recently refurbished hotel with fantastic views of the ocean. The room was nice and modern however the bathroom was a very big let down. The bathtub was extremely worn, with lots of scuffs and marks which consequently led to us not taking a shower. For £240 a night, the cleanliness if the bathroom is shocking.Other than that the hotel staff are friendly and the location is great.

Belated review. Stayed here during Brighton Pride and had THE best service - especially from Barbara (who was incredible - true ally and queen) and a lady from reception (I think she was from Hong Kong) - huge assets! xoxo

A wonderful visit - perfect location for a weekend away, right opposite the beach and i360! Staff were great and we were given warm cookies on arrival - nice touch! The room was modern and large with lots of lovely welcome treats. Waking up by the sea - you can't beat it. The breakfast was lovely with vegan options including croissants. I would definitely return.

Loved our stay at the Hilton! It was our first time staying here and we wouldn’t have changed hotels if we were given the opportunity. I want to make a special shout out to Saba, she was amazing and so kind and really made us feel special. I would come back solely for her customer service! The only downsides were that on the day of check out the hot water was not working, we called the front desk and they told us they already knew and were working on the issue. This wasn’t great as we couldn’t shower before we went home! And the other thing is the staff at the Spa are very unfriendly (especially the male receptionist). He was very cold towards us and kept staring and giving us looks when we would walk past.Other than those downsides we would definitely stay again!

Pool and gym is shameful.- the digital locks for the lockers don't work. Was given a padlock to use instead for the few lockers that use a padlock and was informed these also are temperamental. The padlock I was given of course, did not work.- the gym is cramped, with minimal equipment that feels tired and dated.- speaking of tired and dated, the changing rooms and pool also feel in need of refurbishment and a good clean! Everywhere felt grimy - especially the rusted, wonky, broken showers.- the sauna/steam room are tiny. The sauna also features being set to one heat setting rather than the possibility of adding water and, there is also a crack in the sauna door. Fab if you want to get cooked from the waist up and draft up your legs.I truly feel sorry for members who pay an extortionate fee for somewhere that feels underfunded and very much not in keeping with the luxury that the Hilton boasts. I left feeling dirty and disappointed. Save your money, there are better spa and gyms out there

The interior of the rooms are to a very high standard and have recently been refurbished. Not much the hotel could do about it, but the building site 20 yards from my window disrupted my stay and lowered my room rating from 5 to 4 star. Otherwise good all round
