The Junk Monkey

Bit sad to have to write this review as initially Will and his team were great. Super responsive and got to the job swiftly, which I appreciated as it was urgent for me to get my flat emptied. I was told it would be a two day job.However, on day one of the job they damaged (scratched/dented) my new front door. I was informed of this by my builder the morning of day two, not the Junk Monkey team. I contacted Will who apologised, said he would sort it and be there later that afternoon to collect the rest of the items.And that was it, never heard from him or his team (Simon) again. He stopped answering my calls and messages and went completely MIA. I was then left with having to find another company to collect the bulky items that were left and with whats looking like a £300 repair fee for the door.I get accidents happen, I wasn't hugely annoyed at the time as i was sure we could resolve it in an agreeable way. I am, however, really frustrated that they completely disappeared. It's just plain rude and a ridiculously bad way of dealing with customer grievances.

Will and the Junk Monkey team have helped us on many occasions over the last 5 or so years, from relocating a rescued guinea pig and run, to end of tenancies, to house moves, new sofas and beds and general clear outs. Every single job has been done on time, with such professionalism and above all, a great sense of humour and respect. My whole family thoroughly enjoy our junk monkey visits and wouldn't think to ask anyone else for the service they provide.

WHAT an absolute joy. A lovely team came (on time and gave me notice of their arrival time). Cleared out loads of furniture that had been left in a rental property I managed and rubbish too. Could not recommend them more highly A++++++. Thank you

Booked Junk Monkey for the first time today, brilliant service. The guys are really friendly and fast. Took all the bulky things (rubbish and furniture) I didn’t want but didn’t know how to get rid of easily. Thank you very much. Will def book again when needed. Appreciate it!

What a fab company! Will and his team are the best. Full house clearances to the odd sofa or bed removed and everything in between. Nothing too much hassle or too big for them and all at very affordable prices. Lovely to be able to give a small company the business. Never normally give reviews - but credit where credit is due. Nice one boys - really very good and HIGHLY recommended!

They turned up on time, got the job done with no fuss, left it all spotless and were thoroughly nice people.They should increase their prices, they would still be good value.

Overall I had a good experience with Junk monkeys. We had some issues with access and they were very flexible in working around that, especially given there were protests in Central London which hampered their efforts. I would ensure that you take very clear pictures in order to get an accurate quote (I was out of town so had to do everything remotely rather than get an in person quote) as my quote did change once they went out to the property which is understandable. I have deducted one star because I had asked for the shower door to be removed and disposed of and had been under the impression that this was included in the final price I paid. I subsequently found out this was not done, and despite having contacted the company about it haven't had any further communication regarding this . Other than that, I was happy with the service and would generally recommend.

Super quick and efficient, Super service friendly & helpful staff, if you need your junk cleared you know who to call.

A great team, on time, job completed with ease and no fuss, fully recommend.
