Rachel is a superb groomer and a visit to her grooming studio us always a great pleasure. She is so dedicated and a well of information on all that is dogs. My 2 dogs are getting on abit and can be temperamental but Rachel is a dog whisperer! I can't recommend her highly enough.

Absolutely fantastic service. We have tried multiple dog groomers in the past, but Rachel is hands down the best groomer we have ever met. She is fantastic with our pooch and cuts her exactly as we ask. With some groomers it is hard to know what to expect, but we have absolute trust in Rachel’s work.

Albert my 11 year old Cockerpoo has been to Rachel several times now and I can honestly say that from the moment he walks in the door, she straight away puts him at ease. This allows me to confidently leave Albert in her capable hands. When I return he is immaculately groomed and smells amazing but more importantly he is happy. This is all due not only to Rachel’s expertise but also her obvious love and care for the dog she is grooming. I would definitely recommend Rachel - you won’t be disappointed!

It would be impossible to recommend Rachel too highly. I have a Eurasier - the sort of double-coated dog that people stop you in the street to say “what a beautiful dog but that coat must be difficult to keep”. The truth is, now she goes to Rachel the only time I pick up a brush is to get grass seeds out. And my house is virtually tumble-fluff-free. Rachel is in a different league; she’s also very knowledgeable and great with reserved dogs like mine. Oh, and she’s really nice too!

Rachel provides excellent Grooming services. My two border collies soent the afternoon with her. She is thorough and the dogs smell and look amazing after. The best Grooming Services I have been to in 11 years. I really recommend Rachel.

Excellent professional service from Rachel, our first visit & by far the very best grooming session Flo, our Cavalier King Charles, has ever received. Flo looks fabulous…….. like many things in life the devil is in the detail. Thoroughly recommend Rachel.

Rachel helped us out at short notice and did an incredible job with our Gordon Setter. And, what a caring, patient and compassionate professional; so important when your breed of dog requires technically particular and time consuming work. Thank you so much Rachel.

Edit: In response for Rachel leaving a PDSA donation, what a pointless thing to do and to only look good to your customers and anyone who Google’s you, this donation didn’t stop Pearls suffering and two lots of antibiotics, steroids and painkillers for both infected ears! Neither does it alleviate my mums worry and distress, my mum made a sizeable donation to the PDSA when they treated Pearl. Your donation doesn’t change the fact that your groom did this to Pearl and despite our constant back and forwards messages we still haven’t received and apology or refund for the groom, I hope your donation has cleared your conscience. AmyI would have liked to have left a 0 star review however I was unable. My mum took her Bedlington to Rachel last week and we were very impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable she appeared, she showed us how to clear the hair from Pearls ears and we were happy with her groom and left. On the way home we noticed Pearl had quite a bad razor burn near her ear and was shaking her head a lot, later that day Pearl was visibly distressed and uncomfortable, shaking her head and constantly trying to scratch her ear. The days that followed Pearl became much worse and her ears were swollen and leaking blood and puss, a trip to the vet resulted in us finding out Pearl has a middle ear infection, the vet said most likely from the hair being taken out together with unclean tools used, the vet advised if there is no issue with the ear the hair should be left alone. We left with antibiotics, steroids and painkillers. I contacted Rachel to tell her what had happened and requested a refund as the £50 groom had resulted in so much more money when having to take Pearl to the vets, Rachel was insisting on seeing the vet report even though we’d sent her photos and didn’t even acknowledge that it was her actions that caused Pearl all this pain and discomfort, Rachel wouldn’t accept accountability and refused to send a refund. We were so disappointed as on first impressions Rachel appeared to be an animal lover like ourselves however her action’s after this completely contradicted our first impressions of her.
