Highly and absolutely recommend for piercings and tattoos! Over the years I’ve always used the purple shop. Always been looked after And never any issues. Always explains the healing processes. All staff are pros at there jobs and are the most welcoming piercing shop in town! Tattoos are amazing by nat too!..

I have been coming to the Purple Shop for 24 years! Got my ears pierced when I was 11, my Lip pierced when I was 17 and had the pleasure of taking my 9 year old to get her ears pierced when she felt ready. The staff have always been next level amazing and I was so pleased with how they treated my daughter. Very professional, personable and very clean. Couldn’t ask for a better establishment. I still get my jewelry here, it’s worth the drive! Plus right opposite Christchurch Park. Prime location for chillin!

My friend got her ears pierced here using a piercing gun which I was very unsure about because of past experiences at claires where they use guns and it got jammed or the piercing got infected. yet they claimed they were much better than claires. I'm not a piercer so I don't know if using guns is safe but I am anxious to see how her ears turn out because of the blunt force trauma. But the rest of the shop was nice, friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.

I took my 10 year old daughter to get her ears pierced and the staff were brilliant. They were so helpful and thoughtful too. They were honest and told my daughter what to expect and went through all the after care too. Oh and gave her a lollipop too for being so brave. So professional and the personal touches make such a difference. My daughter came out beaming and hasn't stopped smiling since. 100% recommend them!!

We chose to get my daughters ears pierced at a tattoo studio thinking that the hygiene levels would be very good. This place looked and felt grimy so while waiting my daughter decided to go elsewhere for her piercings. Others may find it perfectly acceptable, but this was just how we found it

Book an ear piercing for my 6 year old daughter who's autistic, booked an appointment but had to rebook as was running late when arrived at updated time was turned away as was late for original appt, after explaining to the lady the situation and that she's autistic was told in quite a rude manner that we would still have to wait and to wait outside, the ladies rudeness was very blatant and upset my daughter who lost the courage she mustered up. Not a very nice atmosphere in the shop at all, your looked down on which is which is quite ridiculous as the staff act as if they are new age hippies. Staff seem very immature. Steer clear.

Been coming to the purple shop for years and when ever I go in I’m made to feel so welcome and they never rush you and have a good chat. I was brought a piercing as a gift else where, The regret is real!And the lovelies (Kailea) at the purple shop have saved me!
