Nice and easy walking route through the city of Edinburgh from Balerno to Leith. The path is flat and perfect for waterside cycling. The AIDS memorial is a beautiful and calm spot just opposite the stairs leading to the National Gallery of Modern Art.

Its a lovely place to walk but sadly the memorial plaque looks neglected. I go to watch the heron and enjoy the sound of the water.
