Isles of Glencoe Hotel
Was at this hotel for 4 nights for a yoga retreat, with holistic health Scotland. Cold dips in the Loch, hot saunas and warm swim after. Hiking nearby and yoga in he Glencoe Suite. The food provided by hotel was absolutely stunning. All the participants agreed way better than we expected being a group of 26 being catered for together. The location of hotel is superb beautiful views. My room was a little chilly due to a new heating system having teething problems. But when I visit Scotland a hot water bottle has always been pressed into service so I used it here. This hotel is busy with many hill walkers and guests with dogs ( super dog friendly) this hotel has a lot of traffic a lot muddy boots so May appear worn in places. I really enjoyed my stay and the staff were all helpful. Walked onto peninsula at night to enjoy the stars on a crystal clear night. The Milky Way was visible and I saw 2 shooting stars.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. We went there to enjoy the pool and a nice shower for five pounds each, after not being able to go on the camping near by where we had a membership. It was absolutely wonderful. Just a calm little peace of heaven. Small pool, sauna and super lovely smelling soap everywhere. We swam for good three hours cause they are open until ten and felt absolutely reborn after a long drive. The staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful and even helped us fill our water canisters with really nice drinking water. The lovely lady was so wonderful to us it really made my day and if we ever come by there we will stop for dinner or a few days of stay because of the location is wonderful and it smelled really good when we came out of the swimming area.Absolutely recommend this place ❤️

Isles of Glencoe sits next to a beautiful lake and the view is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately that was the only positive thing about this hotel. There are no elevators and we had a room on the third floor. Black mold in the bathroom and spiders. The hotel itself isn’t maintained very well. It’s falling apart. The staff at the front desk seemed annoyed as soon as we walked through the door. The staff in the dining room was also not friendly and not attentive at all. Dinner was a 2 1/2 hour ordeal and the server was annoyed when we wanted to order. We had to get her attention to even order food. Same when we were ready for the check. Also the food was very expensive and poor quality. There are no other restaurants in the area so you’re forced to eat there. It’s a tourist trap.Wouldn’t stay again.

Loved this hotel. Good was great, the location was excellent, and even though it is off a main road, we had no issues with noise at all. Stunning part of the country. I highly recommend the quarry walk. Turn right as you enter and go up into the forest to the abandoned house. Absolutely beatification

Amazing views, great location. You can hear the traffic, but dies down when it matters. Good menu, especially the fresh seafood.Restaurant service very attentive without being intrusive. Special mention to Cristina who really knows how to look after you.Overall this is a busy hotel, with coach parties and lots of tourists. A little tired round the edges, but the rating matches the expectations for this 3 stars hotel. And it is dog friendly, with a towel and a water bowl in the room.... and lots of attention from staff and hotel guests alike for the dog...

Very good hotel in an excellent location. Hotel facilities are good. Leisure suite is adequate and a nice place to chill out.Quality of food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was great. Buffet style with hot and cold options.

The hotel is like a treasure in the ground. The only thing is that you should reinvest the revenues. The rooms are ok, but loveless. A few more pictures on the big wall would help. But what is not good at all is the cleanliness in the restaurant. It is completely lacking. The wooden floor and the tables are sticky. The fabric covers of the chairs are almost all very dirty. And the seating area at the bar is not inviting. The location and surroundings are again unforgettably beautiful.

So many fumbles and shortcomings hold this place back from being great.Lovely staff but so often not around. I visited reception three times to find nobody there. I went to the bar twice to find nobody there. Front of house, when there, were polite and helpful. The rooms are ok but have some faults. A great spot to put a hotel with views across the loch. Problem is the slanted windows on the loch facing rooms are permanently condensated. And at this time of year are frosted over on the outside. So your higher priced loch rooms have no view whatsoever. Also this hotel is clearly not thermally efficient as heaters failed to keep the place warm. Heaters had a mind of their own and went on and off no matter what button you pressed. But it struggles to heat a winter room. And the breakfast could be good but the chef clearly had some odd standards, serving potato scones so overfried they were like Doritos. And bacon do wet it drenched your toast. So close but so far. Some TLC and focus and this place would be a winner.

Lovely hotel with stunning views over the water from the dinning room. Pool and sauna facilities (£5 to access if not staying at the hotel) are small but perfectly adequate given the setting.Breakfast is hot and cold buffet, the scrambled eggs were good which is the measure of a breakfast buffet in my opinion.Dinner at the restaurant was really lovely, plenty of options and food was well prepared and presented.
