Brought back an orange wine that tasted and smelt strongly of acetone. Was told strict no returns policy.Despite admitting she hadn’t tried it before, she said the wine was fine and that ‘not liking’ it isn’t a reason for return.Absolutely no concession or apology, just treated like an idiot who obviously can’t know as much as them about wine.Used to come here all the time, spending loads on their great sour dough, ok coffee and alcohol selection.Their pastries are usually burnt. The premium you pay for everything isn’t worth the cold treatment you get from the older members of staff.Needless to say for the sake of £22 you lost two 3 year-long customers.
