I can't believe this is £6.40 for 2 slices of plain white bread with tuna and raw red onion. I only realised this when I got home. Also I waited 15 mins for this sandwich. I called the restaurant to politely ask if they could do anything as this is a expensive sandwich for what it is and they just put the phone down on me. I called back and Prince (a staff member who gave me his name) said that he had another customer that's why he put the phone down on me and I asked if he wanted me to call back when the manager returns and he said yes. I found him to be rude on the phone as he said it's not his problem but the manager who sets the menu which he is partly correct but felt like he didn't want to take any responsibility.

Update Friday 26 May 2023: Hadn't been here to eat for ages and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our lunches and their competitive prices. It's a great cafè to recharge batteries after shopping!Popped into this café for brunch and was impressed with my very healthy GF brunch! My husband enjoyed a Revival Breakfast. The cherry tomatoes were fresh and grilled as opposed to the usual canned version. Lovely staff who looked after us well. Very convenient for the shopping centre of town as just off the main drag.

Such a wonderful place. If you’re looking for a tasty bite then head here. Friendly attentive staff, great menu, reasonably priced and always a warm welcome. Slightly sheltered outside seating so you can watch the world go by! Perfectly located two minutes from the Regents arcade!

We came across this place on way to somewhere else caught our eye as it was so busy. To our surprise it also had gluten free options was nice to have a normal breakfast at a normal price

Very friendly and welcoming. Super quick service. Good plentiful breakfast. Fresh produce. It was also nice to see the owner shaking hands with regulars, making chat with customers and keeping an eye on the running of the restaurant. We will be returning for breakfast in the future.

The food was delicious, the eggs were done really nicely , the hash browns were lovely and crispy…it’s also nice to have 2 pieces of toast to mop everything up.The staff were very friendly and were impressively quick and attentive given how busy it was - the place was packed.Really nice atmosphere inside, you walk past the kitchen and it feels clear that it’s the local for a lot of people.

It was cosy and warm (cold night) and they served me a great steak. It has comfortable seating and good service so I reckon it deserves 4 stars. I nearly dropped them a star because they served a Gin & Tonic for my wife without lemon (had to ask) and there was no alternative to slimline tonic (yuk). I'll give them the benefit of the doubt this time but if it happens again, definitely going down a star.

Lovely food. Cafe in the day, but a bistro at night. Really lovely tasty food, well presented. Goats cheese and aranacini starters fab, as was duck main and sea bass. Puddings and wine great too. Good price. Unsure why it was so quiet- deserves to be full.
