Premier Inn Aviemore hotel

If you have been to a Premier inn before, you know what to expect. Comfortable room and close to the railway station which is very nice.My only complaint is that the general service was very slow, I mean so slow that we waited a whole hour for one desert. And the place wasn't even busy, it should have took 15-20 minutes, not an hour. The staff were kind but the receptionist on the day we went was a bit intimidating. Might just be us but that's what we felt.Overall would come again, but service speeds do need improving, and all staff were nice to speak to!

We had an excellent stay here! Rooms are clean and comfortable.The service from every member of staff was to be commended, especially Rachel! Her warm and friendly personality provided a welcome ray of sunshine to our morning and she was very knowledgable about the local area. She went out of her way to make sure that everything with our breakfast was perfect and was genuinely interested in making sure our stay was as good as it could be. She is a real asset to the team and we would definitely come back after the service we have received.

I'd originally booked the Coylumbridge Hotel for a one night stop over with my wife and young kids... then read the reviews and decided to play safe and book the Premier Inn instead and couldn't fault it. Clean, quiet hotel and the evening meal was good, breakfast was excellent and the staff were great. Late check out times was a nice too.

BEDBUGS!!We stayed here one night as part of our holiday. As a young family we love a Premier Inn. But this may be my last visit.As we were packing to leave my partner found a creature on the duvet. He put it.in a glass and asked the manager to come and look. We knew what it was and he confirmed it was a beg bug.He told us to call customer service for a refund. But even though I called and emailed that very same day, no one responded until it was chased 3 weeks later. At that point they sent in a team to investigate. I was told they couldn't refund because there was no evidence of bed bugs. What about the bed bug we found I said and the bites on my partner's body? No apparently they were figments of our (and the manager's) imagination.So bed bugs at this hotel and a poor attitude to bed bugs in Premier Inn hotels in general. Which is annoying.

Now this is a plush Premier Inn. Stylish, clean and comfortable.The staff are excellent and very helpful.Breakfast was amazing and very tasty. The eating area was clean and modern with great views.Rooms are large, modern and clean.I would definitely use this hotel again and again.My only gripe was that as soon as I entered the building, my mobile signal was nonexistent and the WiFi isn't the best, but then again I never paid for WiFi Premium (£5), so that's on me.

A nice place to stay, clean, tidy, and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told that they were fully booked for dinner and that the chef only takes on so many bookings! This was at 5.15 pm. We did notice, however, that there were lots of empty tables... So, we went out for dinner. Also, there were very, very few disability parking places, I think it was 4? and we had to park at the end of the very large but crowded car park.

- Good location.- Friendly staff members.- Parking is included and is convenient as there are quite a few places around the building.- The water pressure is great - probably one of the best in any hotels. There is a bath in the room too.- The quality of water is also great. After all, it is in Scotland so this may not be a surprise :)- A small table next to the bed seemed to be missing from room 205.- The room was slightly cold over night so we had ask the reception to raise the max temperature pre-set in the heater. They soon adjusted it so it was a lot better.- The wifi was rather slow and even the receptionist struggled with it when checking in. (My family stayed in two separate rooms and the speed also seemed to vary from room to room.) For any reliable use, I would go for the ultimate wifi.- The ultimate wifi was reasonably fast with10.1 Mbps for download5 Mbps for upload.- The free wifi was:1.01 Mbps for download0.42 Mbps for upload.(In a different room, it was slightly slower than this.)- As of 22 Sep 2023, the ultimate wifi costs£5 for a day£15 for a week£30 for a month.- You get what you expect from a Premier Inn in a positive way :)

We went to the rooms, however the service staff were extremely strict about a seventeen year old not being able to stay with a thirteen year old (that they had to be older than eighteen). We were able to check out at 4am, and this was simple. The bedrooms were comfy, just be aware there are no forks or similar in the rooms.

Great hotel, clean and tidy. Rooms are comfortable, good food and great location. Perfect for anyone visiting the area. Shops and places to eat near by all within walking distance.

A shining example of what a Premier Inn can and should be. Friendly staff, simple but clean rooms, air con, great location and a reasonable price. Can't recommend enough!
