Shimla Indian Takeaway
Our first time at this takeaway and we were pleasantly surprised the food was brilliant very good service and our meals were delivered on time, overall our experience was fantastic, well worth a visit to this takeaway restaurant we shall certainly be using this place again

Unfortunately I wasn't very impressed. I had heard great things so my partner and I decided to give it ago and now wish we hadn't bothered. Both our separate meals were swimming in water and completely tasteless. Couldn't actually finish it so have had to throw away and re order with our usual in crownhill. I'm very sorry but will not be recommending to anyone.

Well... Placed the order for delivery at 7pm, was meant to be delivered around 8. Nothing arrived so at 9pm called the restaurant, was told that food is on the way and they are sorry for the delay. Waited till 9.40 and went to Dominos instead.Thought we just were scammed but at 10.30 got a call from the driver...Told him to head back.3.5 freaking hours to get the food delivered!Can't speak about the food quality but the management is a joke.

Having eaten here many times, this place is incredible, fresh, hot, and tasty.It’s also good value, the portions are substantial. The customer service is always second to none, I generally have dealt with Syed who is so accommodating.

My partner Ordered a takeaway from The Shimla on the 27th December and the food never turned up. Driver apparently had an accident and was therefore promised a refund. Spoke to 5 different members of staff now and on one occasion the phone was put down on me. I was told to reach out to just eat, who have informed me that this takeaway has recorded my delivery as delivered despite the driver on the night phoning me saying it cannot be delivered and that I will receive a refund and we needed to go through the company for a refund. 3 members of staff have taken mine and my partners number and nothing has happened.

Love the food here. Best Indian in Plymouth by far. The set meal for two is great value, you get lots of bits on the side as well as two curries and if you don't fancy whats curries are included, they let you swap.. I have to say, the saag aloo is the best I've tasted. Always a great meal. Thanks
