The night before my chains agreed moving date, Persimmon informed me our house wasn't ready! Now looking at other development sites to move to.2 stars because we loved the house but the company has ruined it.West Yorkshire.

Hi has anyone on here had trouble getting their half refund of the deposit. back from the Germany Beck development in Fulford. I have called the Fulford sales site and contacted the head office but I still haven't received my refund yet. When I call the sales office I am being told that they have put In a request for the refund and there is nothing more that they can do. They actually took the deposit in the first place. Does anyone know who to contact to arrange my refund? Any assistance would be most welcome. £250 is a lot of money as like most other people I have been on Furlough

I will never never never buy from Persimmon again. Build quality aside, they have blocked the freehold purchase at every stage meaning we're about to lose our house sale. All in the name of scamming their own customers.I've never known a Persimmon homeowner who has subsequently chosen to buy another Persimmon home. Coincidence???

Would never buy from persimmon again or recommend for anyone else to buy a home from them. Not only is their building quality/standards ashambles, but the customer care that follows is nothing short of shambolic. After multiple complaints of a feel/smell of dampness in our 2 year old home which we bought from new, 9 visits from persimmon left us with no resolution and being told to contact NHBC despite being within our 2 year warantee. NhBC found the issue within 15 minutes which turns out that our main bathroom has had NO appropriate ventilation for 2 years which is not only illegal but a health and safety concern. We have no window being a mid terrace house, and our extractors were never connected. A simple check which persimmon failed to do. We now face stress and worry over the possible damage 2 years without ventilation has caused. We were told we would have a response to our complaint within 10 days. 10 days later I have found myself chasing this up again. After being told we would have a response by the end of today and once again - nothing. Abismal. Lack of customer care and consideration despite the patience and time I have given to persimmon. Left feeling undervalued and frustrated once again.

terrible service and we haven't even moved in yetno-one takes responsibility and blame staff shortages and supply shortages,our first house on a different site in Norton was sold from under our noses and we reserved itwe then went to harebell meadows stockton on tees with and initial date of June/July it passed and we were let don't again as the over head cables haven't been taken down so we changed plots for a third time only to watch as they built unsold houses around ours first.most of which as of writing this today have roofs on and windows in and ours doesn'tfull of excuses and no structure on sitenot to be trusted and quite frankly if I wasn't desperate I wouldn't use them

Persimmon sold us a sub-standard home in 2014, we have major defects and evidence gathered over 5 years of prevarication by Persimmon and NHBC...shockingly appalling service!!!!!!!!!!

Garden wall is about to fall, persimmon takes no responsibility for their quality issue, and customer services ignore customers' complaints. Even the direct in charge (north London) ignores the issues. Bad company, don't believe what they tell you about how much they care about customers, they don't. If you do not want to have to deal with quality hassle, then buy from someone else. Will NEVER recommend.
