Tried ringing the dentist over a year ago for a hole in my tooth. Was 5th in line, got to number 1 and then it cut me off. Rang back straight away and wouldn't even ring. I sent an email, no answer. I rang back a few days later, no answer and left a voicemail asking them to please ring me back. No reply. I've tried many times in the past year to no avail. I now have a very large and painful hole and no dentist to see me. Used to be a brilliant practice but has gone severely downhill. I haven't been seen since before covid.Not happy.

If you could give 0 stars I would.I've had nothing but trouble with this dentist in the past 12 months, 5 months for an extraction and dentures that don't fit. Twice I've turned up with an appointment and then told I haven't. Yesterday's appointment at 9.15 they didn't even open. There is no communication from them nor do they seem to be bothered,Just a quick update on my progress in the last 7 months of my first review.Still waiting for my extraction and dentures had to pull one of my own teeth out because they won't see meJust stay away from this place its not worth the stress and anger THEY cause

I understand that the practice is short staffed and appreciate the difficulties this causes, however you could leave a message on the answering machine to let us know what’s going on? I call during your opening and hours and it says you’re closed. I’ve left messages on the answering machine and no one calls back. I’ve had to ring 111 twice now to get an appointment elsewhere for urgent treatment. I now need two teeth urgently removing and the emergency dentist stated I have to book an appointment with my practice? How am I supposed to do that? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

This practice is, in my opinion with-holding treatment that should be routinely provided under their obligations as contracted by the NHS.They need to be investigated for negligent practice.NHS provision is now being denied.Regardless of your income or financial status, you are expected to pay for private treatment.They are profiteering and doing so by misinforming patients about theirentitlements and hoping that most patients are ill informed enough or daunted enough by their lack of transparency, and web of contradictory information that they give up trying to gain what is legally theirs, A RIGHT OF ACCESS TO DENTAL CARE.Where is their charter on what an NHS patient can expect to receive when seeking treatment?All of the literature that this practice prints is concerning private healthcare only.I am not the only patient that they're depriving. Basically this is a dead business. Next to impossible to get an appointment and when you do it's almost always cancelled. A lot of the staff clearly shouldn't be employed in this profession including some dentists there as a recent visit highlighted just how badly run this place now is. From the moment you enter the building and hear the door banging against the frame it doesn't get any better. The BDA or whoever is responsible for keeping dental practices open should close this place down as its just not acceptable you staying open and calling yourselves dentists or open.

Awful awful dentist. Cancelled my appointment 3 times then sent me a letter saying that unless I was in extreme pain, not to contact them. Why should I be in extreme pain to get treatment? In other words they aren't doing NHS anymore without saying they aren't doing NHS. If I've got to go private, I'd rather go somewhere with better customer service.

Refused service for my partner because she hasn’t had abscess …” only” excruciating pain ….I will contact Health Board and Ms. Janet Finch- Saunders our local MP. I hope for revoking the license asap.

It is hard to describe how disappointed I am with the service. Understandably no appointments were available during the pandemic but not now. I had 6 dental appointments cancelled despite having painful tooth. I was told the surgery struggles with staffing levels. I am not having any problems booking dental hygienist (private) but NHS treatments are non existent. I find this unacceptable. Reception staff appear uninterested with poor customer care skills, caring mainly about charging debit cards. The standard of service in general has really gone down in the last few years. Maybe retention of staff has something to do with the management of the surgery?? As a patient and healthcare professional I feel very disappointed and surprised that such service is still deemed fit for purpose. Very sad.

Been trying to get a filling for 3 years - appointments get cancelled at the last minute - every time without fail!I did manage to get an emergency filling just over a year ago but it came out within 6 weeks!I have given up with this practice, and NHS and gone private elsewhere.This practice is best avoided.

My one star is awarded to the Dentist- lovely personality and a true professional.The failure to award further stars is due to a very poor reception experience.The Receptionist was arrogant with a couldn’t care less attitude unwilling to attempt to resolve a cancelled appointment situation for ongoing treatment made directly by My actual Dentist.My wife being very poorly needs 24hr care unable to be left on her own means a professional carer needs to come to the house for a minimum of 2hrs to look after her. All this fell on deaf earsHer “go away come back on another day of my choosing” was her response to an appointment which had been clearly double booked.She refused to contact the Dentist on my behalf for an explanation with the possibility of the appointment for a 10 minute impression being reinstated.Very poor patient care but unfortunately not by any means uncommon in this practice. .Beware.
