Lovely friendly staff, and fantastically cheap prices! Can find some real bargains here, while supporting the fantastic work that the hospice does.

Hit n miss to find a clothing bargain. Cheaper clothing stock often looks too worn or very outdated but not in a cool vintage way!. Nice clothes are expensive. Bricabrac selection is always well stocked and fair priced.

I have popped into this shop several times and always come out feeling shocked and disgusted by the way it's run and the rudeness of the Manager. The staff (two ladies) who I've met have been chatty and helpful, unlike the rude woman who appears to be in charge, who is dismissive and makes you feel unwelcome. Donations are sold by bin bag full for pennies and the rubbish left for customers to buy in the shop. Whilst last in the shop a young Asian man dressed in high end sports wear was cosying up to this manager in the small office at the back of the shop. I told him to back up a bit and he laughed at me, she commented that he was fine and seemed to encourage his behaviour. I was told later at the till that he is a prisoner on day release from hoselley bay. I could give examples of her behaviour but gone on already too much , I just won't spend time or money there from now on.

I have both worked and volunteered in this shop and have not had any problems with any of the other volunteers and they do a brilliant job in what can be a very busy shop at times. One downside is the lack of volunteers at the moment. The Manager does a brilliant job in what can be a very stressful amd demanding job.
