Without doubt the best traditional Sunday Lunch I’ve ever had. It’s rare to find a Sunday lunch of this quality in which every single element has had such care and attention put into it. The beef is absolutely incredible but the highest praise is for the cauliflower cheese, wow! Incredible. The Ox Cheek starter was memorable as was the incredible Malbec we had with the meal. An iconic dinner on an iconic street in gods own country. Perfection.

Smart restaurant nearer to the top of Haworth main street. Decent food - tried both the fish sharer and meat sharer options.

This was a very special day out for my cousin and she had specifically picked this place out for it.We arrived to a fairly poor greeting and the place was quiet to begin with.We had to ask to order drinks and we proceeded to order our mains at the same timev as we did not v want to b wait any longer. We found the other tables filling up around us.After a long wait, we were one of the only table without our mains. One of the team casually walked by and asked how we were and what were we having for our dishes. A sweet thing to do but the same time we were the only table she spoke with and still no mains. Call me cynical but i think they had forgotten/ lost our order and had then checked. We were ok chatting away but still waiting, i asked the staff how long our food would be, he went to find out. Then 2 cocktails arrived courtesy of them and an apology for the delay. We thanked them but neither of us were able to drink them, i was driving. Our food came eventually and it really did not disappoint. It was amazing. The lunch were served with the best sides i have had in a very long time. We ordered the cauliflower cheese which was just oozing with flavour. So glad that the meal was top notch.Special thank you to the chef and their kitchen team.Everything was exceptional.By the time we had finished our food, we ordered a drink. So here is where it fell down again. 20 minutes from ordering it had still not arrived. I went to use the facilities and on my way back asked if the drink had been served. The staff looked at me and then proceeded to say it was not on the tab. I repeated the order and it was poured in front of me. I settled the bill and was asked if i would like the drink taking to the table which was waiting on the side of the desk. I was taken aback by this question. Finally we got the drink but it was not enjoyed as it should have been.Having worked and observed many customer facing service roles and also having friends in the hospitality trade i know how difficult it can be to train, hire and have the right members of the team. So it's not anything that i do not empathise with or do not understand. But please keep your communication clear and let us know what is going on.For my cousin and I, our time together was really special and precious and I do not know if we will ever get to do this again.Noone likes to give criticism so i hope you understand and take this in the way it is intended.I am happy to talk this through if it will mean noone else has the same experience.

Just no complaints. Superb! The fish board is awesome. The steaks are sublime and every member of the service staff so pleasant. Credit to the restaurant manager Masie for running a very efficient service and all the kitchen staff for excellent food and presentation... this place is near Michelin standard. Just book and enjoy.

We had Sunday roast, beef and lamb, both of which were excellent. The vegetables were perfect as was the Yorkshire pudding. Service was spot on and very attentive. Ellie B was our server and gave us all the attention we needed, even while busily serving others.

My wife and I visited The Hawthorn for the first time on 20th October to attend a wedding meal in the private dining room. I had the Whitby Crab starter and the Dexter Ribeye steak served rare. The starter was delicious and beautifully presented, and the ribeye steak was really tasty and so tender it melted in my mouth. My wife had the fondue starter and the whole bream, and she loved both. The staff are so professional and friendly, and no request was too much for them. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and cozy, which was particularly enjoyed on the rainy evening we visited Haworth!Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the care taken in presenting it.We are already planning our return to The Hawthorn!

First of all, the food is exquisite it really is wonderful. The flavours I especially recommend the fish a few times. I have visited this restaurant but this time it was for our wedding and it was absolutely top notch. Also, I will say that the staff are very attentive and really make sure that you feel like you are having a wonderful time. The cocktails are wonderful and if you want a private venue in the upstairs room, it is absolutely the best place to be in. Haworth Georgian decor and beautiful candle it scenes and you really feel as though you are having a wonderful party. I highly recommend the Hawthorn. It is a wonderful place to have a exquisite and extra special meal.

All of the food was absolutely incredible. The sourdough bread was some of the best we’ve ever had, as was the seafood. The entrees were all very flavorful. Wish we were in town for another night so that we could eat here again!

Fantastic ambience. Fairly lights, candles and log burner, making it a beautiful and cosy restaurant. Food was full of flavour and reasonably priced. Staff are welcoming and couldn't do enough for us.Highly recommend. Book ahead, as very busy
