What an unexpectedly lovely place! Surprising range of goods and delicious hot snacks. Even bought my wife a birthday present from their massive range of **** (can’t say what or it will spoil her treat!)

Great selection of quality, local food. Honestly makes a mockery of the stuff you get in other petrol stations, had a lovely handmade pork pie and chocolate brownie for lunch.Also a great selection of local ales.

What a lovely garage and awesome staff! Our tyre burst just as we were passing this place today on our way to York maze. The manager Adele and husband Jonny live next to the garage and were so kind and helpful. Jonny even put the spare on for us. So grateful for your kindness today guys.

Just been for a 47kg gas cylinder to run heating till my regular supplier could get to me. £149.00!!!! Gas was £89.99 which is bad enough but £59.00 deposit on the cylinder is nothing short of robbery. Nerer again will i be going anywhere near this place.

Great locally sourced food which is ever growing and an even better selection of great spirits and beverages. They do a great hamper at Christmas which were a perfect alternative choice to a present. The cheese selection is awesome and the locally sourced pies and meats are a hit!Surely just having an apple watch isn't sensible in case card machines break or have issues with contactless. Rating a local business 1 star because you didn't have a backup or check is a little disrespectful to any business like this.

Lovely cafe , clean and of course lovely food.I've just had a burger @ great price of £4.95 Inc crisps and coleslaw burger was lovely cooked not too greasy and had a lovely taste topped off with home made custard slice . I will be definitely pop in again as I pass this often travelling to work but never been in until today , wow I don't know how I've managed not to pop in untill today .

We've been buying sandwiches/pork pies from Brooke's for nearly 2 years, however the sandwiches have really gone downhill in the last 6 months.At £3.25 for a turkey & cranberry in breadcake, you don't expect to get 1 slice of 'plastic turkey' and half a jar of cheap cranberry sauce. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and purchased again, only to be disappointed a second time, other fillings are just as sparce.Let down we decided to try somewhere else and fell on the Co-op in Easingwold, they do a meal deal and choc bars are 2 for a £1 whereas Brooke's are 80p each. Between the 2 of us we'd spend £18 a day it now costs us £12 at the Co-op.On a positive note the staff are always polite & friendly but then they are at the Co-op.

This little garage has a great shop with cafe. it services fresh pastries and a local coffee blend that tastes amazing.Across the car park is the best chip shop I have ever been to. Its a little expensive but the portions and quality more than make up. We recently stopped there and got Large cheesy chips for £3. It was more than enough to feed me, my mother and my niece with chips left over. It also had 2/3 different cheeses and good quality chips.We stop at this services every time we travel down the A19.

No fuel on Sunday 2 Oct. Annoyed as I made a special trip, was going to look at shop as well.Price for fuel is very competitive so maybe not a surprise. However, I would expect their supplies to keep up with demand. If they cannot its probably not worth my going out of my way. Perhaps different if I was passing anyway.
