North Wingfield Medical Centre

It is a joy for me to say I have had nothing but good to say about northwingfield medical centre. The staff whatever role they have work as a team and always have my best interests to heart. I have had experience with all the GPS in this surgery. They always listen. Nothing is too much trouble they all go above and beyond. My partner suffers with anxiety but since being under this practice has less anxiety knowing he can always rely on this centre XX ❤️

Reception Staff are extremely rude and unhelpful majority of the time, they need to learn some manners. They seem to think they know better than the doctors!!

So, the doctors are really nice, and most often provide the help needed when an appointment is had. The problem, is with the receptionists, and the appointment system.... Anytime you have a growing concern about a change in your body, the Internet, and NHS online refer you to book a GP appointment to quench your concerns, however... you ring the practice, ask for an appointment, they ask if it's an emergency, you say not really"

I’ve not had any issues with this practice. The Dr always takes time to put me at ease, rather than rushing me out of the door and always explains things in a way that I’m able to process and understand. Appointment availability varies, as with everywhere, but generally when needed I have been able to make appointments.

I've been very ill and missing work, I've been telling my gp this and it's going to be hard to pay bills, they booked my second lot of blood tests for 6 weeks later. I'm getting worse and they don't seem to care.Find a different GP if you value your health

Missed my cancer did not read my scan results properly I’m glad I moved area and it was picked up by the gp reading it right at my new surgery

Honestly can not fault this surgery. We was previously with royal primary care who cancelled my 3 months old second jabs twice the second one being cancelled when we got there to be told she now can't be seen till January where she would be 5 months old and should actually be having her third one by then. After being told this I got home and called north wingfield medical center who told me the process of getting her register with them within two weeks she was registered and had her jabs booked in. Sadly this had to be cancelled due to her getting Scarlet fever which this doctors surgery took seriously. They had no appointments when I was worried but took my details as well as a text to send photos of the rash to see what they could do for us. Within 10 minuets the receptionist called back saying the doctor wanted to see us.I am seriously impressed by all the staff members I have talked to and the doctor was brilliant and asked me why I was concerned he didn't make me feel silly for worrying and turned out it was scarlet fever but she didn't show typical signs of the fever so we caught it early. 6 days into the antibiotics and she's already thriving. We are in the process of moving the whole family.Thank you so much for being so kind and caring.

Who ever,carried out the last report on this surgery is a liar come and talk to the patients not the staff I was a registered Nurse for thirty years the Doctors are diabolical and office staff read reports that come back from the hospital and decide who needs to be see the staff never answer the phone this surgery is not fit flt for purposes there is one excellent Doctor there Doctor Pauline Miller that's the only time I feel safe you show my report freely I have told my Mp we are not getting the care we our entitled to I will not waisting the Royals time any ,more do you think it's right the blood is taken one day it is back in the surgery the next day and a receptionist tells me I have to wait to speak to a doctor till A ugust this time I will. Make sure its brought to attention of the Prime Minister before he loses to many of his voters you can not vote if you are dead

I’ve genuinely only had good experiences at this service. Everyone from receptionist to the nurses, doctors and GPS have always been friendly, approachable and responsive. During first lock down my newborn had tummy issues- health visitor and 111 struggled to help and I was sent round in circles. One call the the GP and I was in in half an hour having my daughter assessed.They’ve been just as responsive and reassuring with mine and my husbands needs.

Great medical practice however contacting them is silly as you can not get through to a que in a morning it just cancels the call When you choose a option. Don't know weather it's a fault they have or they are just over whelmed with calls in a morning. But it is a bit stupid as I know I have no problem calling anyone else
