Went in to buy a pair of trainers but staff were not the best so after tracking one down had to wait a while to get my size, I then queued and queued some more before deciding after over 15 minutes that I might never get served so left without buying anything. Do yourself a favour and give this place a miss. Yes the prices were good when I was in and they had what I wanted, but they could have been giving stuff away and I still wouldn't have recommended it.

The people who work at this store are the definition of “incompetence”. What an awful staff of kids work there! Picked shoes, told one of the staff which shoes I wanted and he scanned them and told me he would bring them. 25 minutes go by and nothing so I go back to the same guy and asked him how long the wait was as I had been waiting a while. He told me that when ready someone would bring them to me and flag me down.I said ok, and went back to the chairs to wait. Another 15 minutes go by and nothing!! So again I go to the till to a different guy and told him I’d be waiting for more than 30 mins and no shoes!! He asked me to bring the shoes and he would scan them (again!?).I brought the shoes he scanned them and told me when scanned this goes into a board that turns red when the shoes are out of stock (no one told us that);at this point I was well annoyed. Another woman came and I explained the same thing and she said “oh your shoes have just been scanned.I’ll bring them to you” and I said “Ermm NO a guy scanned them more than 30 mins ago and I wasn’t brought the shoes yet” she scanned them again and said she’d be with me in 5. Again I waited! Then guess what? They come with size 38.5. I told him I asked for 39. His answer “when I scan in the scan it says 39 so it’s 39” I asked him “what does it say on the shoes?” He said 38.5. So basically he wanted to fool me in buying 38.5 on the pressupost it was a 39 when it was not!! He then said 39 is out of stock!! So they made me wait 40+ minutes just to tell me they are out of stock!!!This was a Christmas shopping!!!! Was meant to be joyful and fun and they turned it into such a bad experience!!!! Never NEVER NEVER AGAIN will I step foot on this place ever again. Just a bunch of lying incompetent people. I saw a woman in the same position as mine who also was complaining and many comments on here and YET no change!! You are just loosing customers! Get SOME GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING! RUDE!!

It’s so busy all the time and there isn’t staff available to ask about products! Though if you’re willing to wait long enough they’re really helpful.

Delivery driver leaves package unsafe outside front door which obviously got nicked. However, JD Sports does not feel obliged to issue refund. Wont be buying from here again you can bet on it.

The king of trainers. Super collection of trainer shoes and all accessories tight, dry fits, caps gloves, bags and the list goes on. Men women and kids and infants if they r ready to wear a trainer. Super helpful and friendly staffs

My experience at JD Sport in Market St was disappointing due to what felt like inexperienced staff. I rate it one star, but I genuinely wish a zero-star option existed.

I am really sorry for the customer service in this branch. When someone asked them a question, they ignored them, and when you wanted to pay, they treated you so badly that you regret buying. They threw my purchase on the table. I won’t go there anymore.
