As a family we were overwhelmed with processing our loss.The practicalities of knowing who to call , what we had to do and when we had to do things was bewildering . From the very beginning Nick was amazing , providing clear information.Nick discussed the process in a professional , kind and efficient way. As a family who do not live locally Nick went above and beyond making sure everyone was fully informed ,consulted and updated . Contacting the service was trouble free and the administration process was efficient and seamless. The team supporting the family on the day were kind , patient and understanding . They were so kind to the numerous grandchildren and other frail relatives. Everyone we have had contact with has been kind , compassionate and professional. No one ever wants to make that call to arrange the funeral of a loved one but we have found that by calling Hillier’s the hardest call ever was made easier by the whole amazing team . Our special thanks go to Nick who went above and beyond to make the day seamless as it could be.

Nick was so understanding and we hit it off from the first telephone call. He made the funeral easy to arrange, offering help at every stage along the way. From choosing the music to advice on the flowers and the limousine, he made it all bearable, as did all his colleagues that were involved. I do not think I could have found a better Funeral Director anywhere.

We couldn’t have asked for more care or professionalism from Hilliers. They thought of everything… the little details that really allowed us to make our Father’s funeral so personal and so ‘him’.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hilliers. Nick made what is essentially an awful time so much easier as he took the worry away .Top class service indeed.

I can't thank Hillers enough for what they did for me after my mum passed away suddenly. They kept me informed to what I needed to do, what was going to happen and supported me in being able to see my mum in the chapel of rest on more than one occasion, thank you Nick. Hilliers have recently arranged my mums funeral. They provided a very professional service but also very personal. Mike and Nick were extremely helpful and courteous to our family. Everything went very smoothly and no request was to much trouble. Can't thank them enough.
