We were so lucky to have Darren photograph our wedding! He captured our day so perfectly, and the photos are beautiful! Darren was such a friendly person to work with, and he honestly felt like another guest at our wedding. Thank you Darren for everything, and for giving us beautiful memories to look back on from our wedding.

We really can't thank Darren enough! I knew we wanted plenty of documentary-style photos without overly saturated editing. Darren captured our day and was so friendly and professional throughout. It's been such a pleasure to go through the album and seeing the moments from the day preserved. We couldn't be happier with the results!

Darren was extremely calming and reassuring on the day and as well as getting some absolutely stunning shots and was a pleasure to spend the day with. Darren is a class act in the world of weddings and photography. Given this was our first (and hopefully last!) wedding, we didn’t really know what to expect, what to ask for or where to turn, and when we found Darren we immediately felt comfortable and knew we were in fantastic hands. From the outset Darren took it upon himself to make sure we formed a proper relationship so he could understand who we were, what our day was about and what we’d love to look back on in years to come. And given we are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, he really made us relax on the day and enjoy every moment, capturing some beautiful natural shots of both of us and our family and friends which we absolutely adore. As a couple who often find ourselves living in the moment we found choosing Darren as our wedding photographer to be a no brainer. Friendly and personable from the get go, with an organised professional manner he made the initial contact and meeting really easy and helped us to form an idea of what we wanted to be captured on the day. On the day of our wedding he managed to blend in with an ease that allowed ourselves and our guests to enjoy the day authentically without feeling that anyone had to pose, even with our portrait shots his manner and chat allowed us to enjoy our special moment. He captured the day perfectly including a lot of moments which went by in such a flurry that we did not manage to truly appreciate them on the day but now have the opportunity to appreciate for life. The gallery was completed ahead of schedule and within days we also had some sneak peaks to enjoy viewing on our honeymoon. Thankyou Darren!

It has taken me some time to find the right words to describe my experience with Darren Hemsley. I CANNOT recommend this guy enough! Our experience with Darren was professional and very positive. He was receptive to our wishes and nailed the brief beyond our imagination. The photographs he took are tasteful, fun, romantic and joyous. I don’t even know where to start!! We got engaged last March and then followed Darren on Instagram, I loved his portfolio so as soon as we started wedding planning I knew I wanted Darren from the start. I talked with Darren over Instagram a fair bit and got him booked as soon as we secured a date. We got married in June this year (late review sorry) and got our album a few weeks later and wow we are still amazed by Darren’s work! He exceeded our expectations. We love the natural shots and that’s what we got. On the day Darren just blended in nicely that half the time I didn’t even realise he was there capturing all our precious moments! It was such a hot day and Darren didn’t put any pressure on us to pose in the sun for hours on end, he/ we all went with the flow which was perfect for us all. He’s such a genuine, friendly and lovely guy and everything was just so easy with him. We had Darren as our wedding photographer and he exceeded our expectations, we saw how beautiful his photography was on his Instagram page which first drew us to hiring him for our wedding, but on the day and on the run up he really took the time to get to know what we wanted from our photographs and the timing of the day so he could capture everything as we wanted. He scoped the grounds of the venue out before hand so he knew where to capture everything perfectly. He also made us feel so relaxed, gave us great direction but also not too much so everything felt natural, we are not really in front of the camera people and felt worried we were going to look/feel awkward, but we didn’t and that’s because Darren put us at ease and we knew everything was going to turn out great. He was so professional, friendly and knew exactly what he was doing, his experience shined through and we would recommend him over and over again. Our gallery came back to us in great time and we love them, thank you so much Darren, our photographs we will treasure forever.

We absolutely loved our photographs from Darren. He was amazing on our wedding day, from start to finish! And we could not be happier with our final photographs from our special day!
