I have experienced odd and/or rude behaviour from at least three members of staff on the very few occasions I have been for myself or accompanied family members. It is a real challenge to see a doctor and I suspect it's because the staff at reception are not qualified for triage and cannot make the decision as to whether a patient needs to see a doctor or not. Not very pleasant to be ill and be treated with poor attitude.

This practice was good, had some excellent doctors, since they have left, it's gone down hill fast. Am unwell, but no appointments available till Monday? ??. Where are the NHS values???, patient care, compassion, commitment? ??, absolutely shocking!!. Disgrace to the medical profession!

Being made to cry on the phone because a receptionist spoke Rudely to me, cant empathise or at all deal with things sensitively. Nothing gets done. No one ever answers. I rang three times yesterday morning for three minutes at a time!! And when I’m asking for delayed results that will essentially affect the rest of my life, being spoken to like I’m an idiot or rudely to the point of crying, is an absolute disgrace. I may never have kids again. Being laughed at down the phone by a member of staff isn’t what I wanted when I rang.

Terrible surgery. Always running late for appointments. 9 times out of 10 if you actually get an appointment for that day you end up seeing the nurse practitioner rather than a doctor. If you want to see a doctor you have to know 3-4 weeks in advance that your going to be ill so that you can get an appointment with one. This surgery also recently refused to prescribe paracetamol and antihistamines to my son who is five and was suffering in terrible pain with chicken pox. I was told to go and buy some as they won't prescribe him any, even though he is entitled to free NHS prescriptions. An absolute joke.

Terrible. Went to ask for a prescription that I have been having for 2 years. The woman assured me it would get done. Went to the pharmacy to collect it and one hadn't been done since February!! Now I have to start a new contract away from home and have been left without the important medication. Disgusting. They didn't even call me to discuss if there was going to be a problem with prescribing it - they just didn't issue it.

Does anyone actually ever answer the phone??? Appalling care of my 88 year old uncle....No one can actually get through to even speak to anyone let alone get an appointment! This needs reviewing urgently.

I have just joined this practice and have found the nurses and reception staff really pleasant and knowlegable. I have see one ďoctor, as a new patient, and he listened to me and gave me advice and information about my queries. Up to now I am very happy with the care given to me.

Been ringing for 19 minutes ,no one answered apart from their recorded message at the beginning, then the phone went dead.I am now trying again to get through to make an appointment for blood tests. It,s not a busy time either at the surgery.I have been with this surgery for almost 38 years and it used to be great. It has sadly gone right downhill these past few years. So far this second phone call is not getting answered and is now 10 minutes,so altogether I have been trying to get through for almost 30 minutes.Totally ridiculous.

Don't expect much even if they answer the phone. Despite the recorded message assuring appointments for the same day in emergencies, the receptionist will soon tell you there are none and to ring back the next day. It's almost as if you are a nuscience!Update:my last experience was much improved. Phone answered, appointment made within a reasonable timeframe. I have found that once there, the doctors and nurses have been excellent. I speculate that the issues arise with the administration staff?

I have been trying to get an appointment for months, every time I call I'm told to call back on Monday, when I call on Monday I never even get through to a queue. I resorted to online consultations to actually speak to my GP, I have done this twice now, the first time being flat out ignored and the second time receiving a one sentence email stating my econsultation had been passed to a GP, I have heard nothing since. So much for a duty of care, you should all be ashamed of yourselves, waste of time and taxpayer money
