We enjoyed our three night stay very much. Lovely room and pleasant staff. Food was very good quality and large portions. Good variety of dishes both at breakfast and dinner.

A wonderful restaurant with rooms, located on the main road but very quiet. It obviously has a good reputation as it was pretty busy on a Wednesday night mid-September. So do book!The room was well appointed and incredibly clean and comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were fabulous. Highly recommend!

A wonderful experience. Lovely large and comfortable rooms, beautifully decorated. Great food served in the superb restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Nothing too much trouble. We’ll be back.

We’ve been multiple times but We came in the other night and cannot fault them at all , all the staff are so lovely & helpful ( even when we caused a bit of a faff! ) amazing experience as always.Plus the guy the served us ( Ryan maybe? I’m bad with names but he had a semi Colon tattoo ) was the nicest person ever , such a sweet soul so deserved a mention.10/10 as always <33

My wife and I wanted a short break away to relax before an impending operation. My wife booked The Kingswood and we could not have been happier with the choice. The room was amazing, spotlessly clean, well equipped and spacious with all the modern touches. Its the first time that my wife has gone into a hotel room and not wanted to change. She described the room as 'Wow!' Tamsin welcomed us to our stay and after unpacking we went into the bar and was then served with the most beautiful and mouthwatering cream tea which set the standard for the rest of the stay. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and the food was incredible, no wonder the restaurant was full. Breakfast was exceptional quality and plenty to choose from. Nothing was too much trouble and the portions were extremely generous both for dinner and breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful and everyone had a smile on their faces even though they were rushing around due to being so busy. The Kingswood deserve to be commended for their ethos of great value for money, brilliant customer service and warm friendliness. We cannot wait to book another stay in 2024.

We had a fabulous 4 night stay at this modern hotel and restaurant. Rooms were a very good size, clean and comfortable.We ate in the restaurant every evening. The food was outstanding. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Although the restaurant was busy, nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely hotel and restaurant. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming.The food served at both dinner and breakfast was delicious and had good options for vegetarians.The Kingswood also gave us a well located base to explore the surrounding area.

What an amazing two night stay we've just had! Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, everyone so friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Amanda, Laura, Jacob and Millie, you're all a credit to the team, you've made our anniversary stay one to remember. Everywhere so very clean and tidy. Rooms spacious and so quiet. Will recommend to everyone and hopefully be back ourselves at some point! Thank you

Wow, what a beautiful place. The restaurant and rooms are amazing.Room was very bright, large and comfortable. The bed and facilities were spot on. Even a dog bed, bowl and treats for our well travelled dog. Everything you could need was in the room. Extremely well thought out.We only ate breakfast in the restaurant. Both of us having a full English breakfast. We were not disappointed. Good value for money.The young lad that booked us in was very professional although they were extremely busy. He took the time to show us to our room and was even there in the morning to serve breakfast.Very pleased with our time there. We will definitely stay again and recommend to others.Thank you Mr and Mrs Pirie
