Having your hair cut, beard trimmed or (preferably) both by Laura is an experience to really savour. You feel as though you're in the presence of an artist meticulously working on a masterpiece and you're the canvas! To say it's relaxing is an understatement; the hustle and bustle of life is transcended for the duration of the whole appointment. Wonderful. If I ever win the lottery Laura will be on the payroll !

As well as doing absolutely magic things with my beard, Laura is great company, and provides a great experience. Massively recommend, and Arête has an ace vibe too.

Can’t recommend Laura enough, it’s always a pleasure seeing her, it’s like having a catch up with a mate and she always makes me laugh. She’s also a bloody brilliant barber and has been cutting my hair since 2015 - nobody does it better!

I was rather nervous (as I always am prior to a new barber!) I needn’t have worried Laura was magnificent, full of ideas and suggestions. I had the full works hair, beard, moustache, head massage etc..was really happy and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Laura!
