Hotpoint Repairs Burnopfield

After having the washing machine 4/5 months and paying out the extra insurance it broke down on me so I phoned the next morning (Saturday)to get it repaired they came out luckily enough when I was back from work . I work at school so I can’t just take time off as I please. So the repair team told me to take a chance which isn’t helpful when I should really have a proper time slot especially me paying them in full for the machine. I was told the circuit board had gone and this happens often with the type of machine I have so this concerned me . After the next guy who turned up to repair it had called and I wasn’t in I had to wait another week so 2 weeks without washing and I need to wash every 2 nd day . I don’t think the service people were helpful apart from one guy and a lady . When I went back to curry’s to tell them my concerns if it broke down again and my expiry date from when I bought it finishes even if it was day ,week etc over where do I stand ?? The guy in curry’s did not help or understand got stressed and went to call the manager he came back told me to get it repaired and if it breaks down he replace it . I don’t think that helps with the inconvenience of not getting my washing done or the stress of sorting it after taking my money . I don’t think Curry’s are bothered but will be on my back if I had it on finance and missed a payment

Initial contact with Hotpoint resulted in sales pitch to purchase extended warranty which was discouraging. However cooker repair was quick and efficiently done in a friendly manner.
