Marks and Spencer

It’s a small food hall, so they can’t stock everything so accept the range is somewhat limited compared to the giant ones. That said the staff are always very attentive and they do have a decent selection of goods. It does annoy me when they move stuff around but that’s a retail thing not limited to them, largely everything stays in the same section. In covid times they are very good at controlling numbers of people in store and generally social distancing & face coverings are adhered to. It’s always clean too which seems trivial but who wants to buy their food from a dirty looking supermarket

Great food hall. Fresh food. Good selection of cards and flowers. Lovely staff. Every trolly is cleaned down after use and when given to each customer at the door, to prevent the spread of Covid. I cannot fault this store or anything about M&S

Very well placed. Good food but expensive. ample parking but gets busy at lunch. Would recommend for a friday lunch one off. Convenient for stopping on the way into reading or back out. Quiet in the mornings

My faith in one of the institutions I've always relied upon was shaken today. We went into M and S to buy something for a quick dinner. Saw the '3 for £10' meal offers, took 3 items off the shelf and went to check out. Came to £13. The cashier advised that one of the items I had taken was not included in the offer. Went back to the shelf and there was the offending item with a massive sticker underneath saying 3 for 10 offer. Very upset as this was felt to be deceitful. I was advised the stacking format was company policy and it was necessary in choosing an item then to check it had a small sticker on it saying it was included in the promotion. Even more I felt the standards that M and S could be relied upon to adhere to were now being set aside. I took a picture of the cabinet and the more I look at it the more I feel it was set up to deceive. The items above the large sign are not included in the offer.

Well stocked, clean, pleasant staff.Like all M&S stores it suffers from poor dates on food & on only catering for 2+ families.

Superb organisation re the queue, lovely lady with dark hair, very welcoming. Great choice and standard of food. Even got a few reduced bargains.... Very pleasant lady on the till, Esther. All in all, a super shopping experience

Easy to park and not busy when I go around 10 am on Tuesday.

It's a great m&s! always takes me a while to master the roundabout that its on. The staff are very friendly and it stocks all your usual stuff as well as a few branded products. The car park is a good size so never any trouble parking.

Dreadful service from the staff. One member called another staff member 3 times to come out of the back to serve - they heard, 5 minutes later they came out once they had finished their conversation. I could see 3 of them standing out the back, just standing there giggling. Food was luke warm unbelievable as its only put in the microwave and cost £26

Plenty of places to park. Good choice of flowers in florist section. Looked clean & well stocked with all usual M & S food hall groceries, ready meal choices, chocolates selection & wines etc. Cafeteria had choice of sandwiches, cakes etc. Adequate but could be improved, particularly the decor. Sparse/basic sprang to mind.Overall, I was happy with my visit & look forward to shopping there again. Also handy that I could collect my online shopping purchase from there from a customer services corner.
