This used to be a good store but the new manager hasn't got a clue. Empty shelves, incorrect prices on the shelf and the manager closed the customer service desk; you now have to queue at the cigarette counter. The self scan constantly requests re-scan and the staff are SO unhelpful. Avoid the place if you can.

This supermarket is a shambles at the moment. They seem to be going through some kind of refit , which is taking forever and appears to be poorly managed. I would have thought that a supermarket of Sainsbury's experience would be able to manage a refit smoothly and still maintain proper stocks. This evening lots of shelves were empty, I could only get 1 of the three things I went in for. The staff are very nice and coping as well as possible but there must be something wrong with the management. I know where I won't be doing my Christmas shopping!

Sainsbury's St Clare receives mixed reviews. While some customers commend the store for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and diverse product range, others decry its shortcomings in customer service, stock availability, and the absence of self-scan guns. Here is a breakdown of the pros and cons at Sainsbury's St Clare:Pros:1. Clean and well-maintained store2. Extensive variety of products3. Some staff members are friendly and helpfulCons:1. Instances of rude and unhelpful staff2. Issues with stock shortages3. Absence of self-scan gunsUltimately, whether or not I would recommend Sainsbury's St Clare depends on individual priorities. If you prioritize a clean and well-stocked supermarket, then Sainsbury's St Clare is a viable option. However, if exceptional customer service is a top priority, you may want to explore other shopping alternatives.

This branch is a good size and has a sushi counter, Argos and Starbucks! Very well lit and normally clean. The downside is they don’t seem to have much stock often. Parking is also ample and there is a car wash and petrol station

Was and is a Sainsbury. If you have been in a sainsbury before, you will have a pretty good idea of what to expect. If not, it is a shop.It sells stuff. It has a floor and a ceiling and some walls to separate it from the other shops. There is a guy that stops people stealing things and some other people that serve you. They sell food and some other stuff.

Appears to be under major refurbishment right now. At the time of the visit, many items had been relocated or were temporarily unavailable. The store does seem a bit dated and tired, so the re-furb is overdue. Ok for most day to day stuff but not really inspiring and seems quite expensive. Would definitely review once the changes have been achieved.

It's fine but too much parking reserved for disabled (always lots empty slots) and young children so longer walk than necessary

Good place to shop plenty of parking and a decent selection of food and wine. All the benefits of a big shop as there are toilets, petrol, cafe and an in store Argos. The problem with the place at the moment is that they keep reorganising the shelves and it is really difficult to find all the things on the list. You look at the signs which should tell you what is in that aisle and they say one thing but the entire aisle has been stripped of products. Resulting in much longer time marching up and down the shop to find what you want. If this settles down soon may be better, but add to that a glitch in the wand when scanning the shopping means the pricing of things on offer goes wrong you end up spending far more time in the place than you intended.

I’ve been frequenting this store fairly regularly over the last 6 years or so. It’s very handy for access as it’s just off the main roads.I’ve given it a 4-Star review as the store is generally in good order but there were a few things letting it down, some of the isles were a bit untidy, the jeans section in the men’s clothing was all over the place - they have a style which I really like the look of but I can’t be bothered to go through the jumble-sale that it represents (see pic). Also whilst the men’s toilets were generally clean and tidy there is a loo roll holder missing in one of the cubicles. Also the baby-change facility was out of order which as a father of a young child I know how frustrating that can be when out.The store has lots of parking, so much to can actually pay to park for the day if you wish! There is a petrol station on site along with an Argos Intergated into the back of the store.Overall a good store with pretty much everything you need from a supermarket.
