Lalas Bradford - The Regent

An excellent and exciting new restaurant recently opened in Bradford, owned by an experienced entrepreneur" restauranteur who focuses on providing a wide range of selection on continental and kashmiri food. Lala's the regent is stunningly beautiful

Everytime Iv been to lalas iv not been disappointed they know how to cook. Love they international dishes love the sea bass & steak unlike some resturants!Staff are always dressed smartly n are helpful keep it up!!!

We booked a table for a certain time only to find out when we got there that the table hadn't been reserved and we had been lied to. Was told to wait twenty minutes for a table and after forty minutes still didn't get one. Not one were we told why the wait whilst others were being seated. Started to walk out with party only to get a waiter trying to stop me on the way out. When I refused his manager came out to have a full blown argument on the street questioning my meaning of time as he said it had only been ten minutes. When we confirmed this wasn't the case and explained this to him he didn't agree and let us be. Worst experience ever ... Went to rajas down the road hahaha. Better service for sure !!!

Visited with the missus on a Friday evening and even though the place was full (always a good sign) they quickly sorted us a nice table to sit at and could not do enough to make us comfortable and welcome. Food was magnificent, Masala fish was best ever, white flaky fish cooked just enough and melt in the mouth. Followed by a Karahi Chicken which had a nice kick without been too hot. Portion size left nothing to be desired, just left us too full to attempt any of the many cakes and desserts on offer..No alcohol but this was a bonus, forced us into trying the Strawbery Lassi which was so much nicer with a meal than the usual Pint of Cobra.Will be back.. And even better, the bill seemed much more reasonable than other places.

This place is a joke and way over priced. The manager walks around the place constantly grinning at females like its his right. On top of that the waiters are complete clueless. Truly agree with the review above.Avoid this place at all costs it's infested with mosquitoes.

I went to lalas yesterday and got there for 19:17 and they said it will be half hour, got seated at 20:18 then ordered and then 20:53 got the food and was not cooked properly, then the main course came and that's was not cooked properly either. Not impressed and I had friends who came from Bolton who were never going to reccommend or will come again... times that were said was exaggerated and had to ask for Culterely to be put on the table. I wouldn't go there.

I've never been in worse restaurant than Lallas's Bradford. We had to wait for our food for over an hour. Finally half of my friends got food while rest of us had to wait.I think we got a tap water. I understand that water is for free but the taste was like a typical tap water also you need to give a proper wash of your glasses.One of your waiters was stinky. Do not allow them to smoke cigarettes if they can not prevent this big stink.The waiters did not put plates with our food, they just dropped it on the table. You need to teach them a good manners and the serving's rules.The food was awful. I could not find any potatoes on my plate(It is hard to call potatoes at something what can be barely seen. My salmon was overcooked with some terrible sauce. The green one sauce was with water, we could not feel the taste of that sauce. Chicken too dried, in general my friends are not happy of the food's quality.At the end of my opinion, I must say that the male toilet was not clean!!! There was a brown little guy, that should have been cleaned long time before, but better to leave for the customers to see how unprofessional you are!Unfortunately can not give a zero start.CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, BETTER TO PICK UP ANOTHER RESTAURANT.

The restaurant was packed out and we arrived without making a booking, the manager quickly arranged a table for 3 with no questions asked. The waiters were fantastic very friendly n polite really made us feel at home. The starters were fantastic (chicken wings, lamb chops & sheekh kebab) they had plenty of flavour especially the lamb chops which were juicy and tender the wings were perfect and you can't really go wrong with sheekh kebabs. For the mains we ordered lamb handi (on the bone) it was absolutely beautiful along with chicken karahi again it was exquisite and to wash it down with we had a jug of strawberry lassi. From start to end both the service and the food was fantastic. A must recommend for any traditional curry lovers. You will not be disappointed.

I have been here many times and each time the service is spectacular and the food is immense - always cooked to perfection. One of the favourite restaurants for the family!
