So much cheaper than the renewal quote I got with the provider I was with for 9, yes 9 years. So much for loyalty!New Policy was comparable in every way - just £140 cheaper!!Definitely recommend to anyone

I have been with Policy Expert for 2 years now. I usually switch to a different provider every year due to the significant renewal price increase from most insurers. Policy Expert offer the most competitively priced Home Insurance on the market. Whenever I have had a question or needed legal advice they were extremely helpful and got me to the right people quickly and with no fuss. I definitely recommend them.

I can only comment about purchasing my home and contents policy. It is not until you claim can you really understand how good an insurance company is. As for the purchase it was plain and simple with all the usual questions expected. I found policy through a comparison site and it would have been good if the answers given on that site fed through, but alas they don't so you do doing things this way you do answer the same questions twice.

I can’t say I had heard of them, but the reviews and experiences of others convinced me. The web site was very good at explaining what included and not, the experience of buying the policy was very simple (not a continual attempt to buy more add ins).I haven’t claimed yet(hope not too), but so far so good

The whole process was very efficient and policy expert were there to answer my questions prior to taking out the policy. It was good to know that there was someone available on the end of the phone who would answer! So many times with various companies you can't speak to a human being and are referred back to the companies app which might answer or send you round in circles.Really competitive quote and so far everything has gone very smoothly. A happy customer!

I was a loyal customer with Home Insurance and Home emergency policy with no claims at all with Policy Expert. I thought in an emergency this would be useful but I made fool of myself associating with this company. Yesterday evening my heating stopped working and I called up their Emergency support line, very less knowing the person over there is sitting only to find a reason how not to process a claim. He asked me for Boiler purchase, Boiler service, Gas safe etc documents and until these are provided and verified by them no support will be provided.If these documents are mandatory why are they not asking it when purchasing the policy?Be careful. I learnt my lesson going for a cheap price Company

If you are contemplating buying home insurance with Policy Expert, PLEASE read this first.The only pro that Policy Expert offers is the competitive price. That being said, when your renewal is due, your price will increase by around £100-£200 without them being able to give you a proper reason as to why.If you need to make a claim, Policy Expert/their claims team don’t act as urgently as another provider would. It’s very half-arsed and lacklustre service from where the claims are concerned.They do not treat their staff equally. They are a heartless company that don’t care about their staff unless they are making them money.You are best off taking your money elsewhere and spending a little bit more, for better service all round. Policy Expert do NOT put their customers first. Policy Expert do NOT look after their staff. Their reviews are so high because they ask people to leave reviews. Please don’t be misled.Insuring your home is important, so you want to make the right choice. Policy Expert isn’t that choice. Trust me.
