On Friday we found that our UPVC back door had dropped and would not close or lock. Being a Friday and the weekend we needed someone ASAP. On telephoning a previous contact were advised they could not help that day but recommended Steve Chapman who was a specialist and very good with locks and doors. We telephoned at 2.15pm, he said he would be with us in 1.5 hours which was great, he arrived at 3.45pm, sorted the door out and was away before 5pm.Very good, pleasant, would recommend him to anyone, also a reasonable price.G KING Market Drayton

Our tenant left and posted the key back to us - which never arrived. Called A1, they came out fast, detected additional damage to the lock from a previous tenant that compromised security, repaired that damage for free, and changed the cylinders. Polite, professional, thorough. Highly recommended!

Steve was excellent and provided an excellent service. He arrived when he said he would and always texted/phoned to advise us he was on his way. Being new to the area we were a little nervous of just finding a number off the internet but I can assure anyone in the same situation that you need have no worries with Steve. He is a perfect gentleman and gave advise regarding the front door but unrelated to the locks, nothing in it for him. Many thanks Steve. Very Highly recommended.

When our door lock broke we contacted Steve at A1 as he had been recommended. He came as soon as he finished the job he was doing and did a fantastic job replacing the worn and faulty parts. It now works like new and his charge was very reasonable for the work and parts. We would contact Steve whenever we have any problems he could fix.

Steve Chapman sorted out our door lock problem in a most professional way. Arrived on time, very knowledge able in respect of what was needed and was most courteous. His cost was very fair considering that he was with us for 1hour and a half and he is a person whom we would recommend.

I called Steve for a non urgent lock change, he fitted in around my work commitments and contacted me as promised beforehand to check I was home. Steve was very efficient and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to contact him again or recommend his services.
