Dog Adventure Paddocks

Absolutely incredible place for our girls and right on our doorstep! Happened upon the adventure paddocks by chance last Christmas for our labradors and haven’t looked back since. We’ve brought our ‘pup’ since she was tiny and our older girl at the same time. Advice from Steve on our pup’s reactions to others put our mind at ease when she was clearly communicating at such a young age. Steve is an asset to the sessions , friendly and happy to chat / take any queries. I Wouldn’t hesitate to get in touch with questions. We love booking socials and also paddocks for something different for our girls to do! Perfect space, constantly improving. Thanks

Great place to visit with the dog! We have a Labrador with poor recall and reactive from being hurt by another dog, it’s lovely for him to be off lead and free for a good run around.Always have the code text to me before we go too and nearly always use the paddock 2.Poo bin was full but a quick text to inform and a prompt reply to tell me it is being sorted asap. Great!

Visited here whilst travelling through and highly recommend. Great big enclosed areas. We were in paddock 4 and there was lots of things for the dogs and a picnic bench for us with a hut. Only improvement I'd say is the dirt road leading to the fields is very uneven so be careful when driving along. Would definitely go back when we are in the area. Gordon absolutely loved it and plenty of space to throw a ball. Thank you

Couldn't find it at first. So had to ring.I was booked in paddock 1 (best for reactive dogs). Another owner helped me on the first day.I was anxious about leaving when all the other dogs were, but someone helpfully told me of the rear gate. ( don't wear shorts). Second day, someone was in the paddock previously, so waited until they left via main route, then went in and out via the back gate.Will definitely book again. Buy maybe more guidance is helpful for newbies

I was new to the area and was looking for somewhere to let off our Golden Retriever puppy but was apprehensive about him being off the lead in a typical field due to the many distractions. A friend of mine suggested we went to the Dog Adventure Paddocks as we could book a slot and our little man, Obi, could be let off to burn some energy and allow us to practice recall with him in a safe space where we knew he wouldn’t be at risk of running off or interacting with other dogs whilst we trained him. It was just what we needed and often book a slot in the evening to spend some quality time with our doggo (and burn off a few calories ourselves chasing after him!)We have also been attending the Puppy Socialisation sessions on a Saturday morning which have been an amazing way for Obi to meet new dogs in a safe environment, socialise with them and their owners and for me to make friends with other likeminded people that also have their puppies at the heart of everything they do! I now have a new friend and Obi has gained a fellow Golden buddy too!!We absolutely love coming to the Dog Adventure Paddock and recommend it to all of our friends. We can’t wait to attend the Golden Retriever social coming up soon too!!Steve is so friendly and clearly dog obsessed. He is very knowledgable and provides guidance and advice when it is needed. We have already seen some massive improvements in the Dog Adventure Paddocks such as new benches in the paddocks, water troughs for the dogs to drink from (and swim in sometimes!) and evening out of the track as you come in which makes it less bumpy to drive down too!

I use the paddocks now and again as I have trouble walking at the moment & therefore controlling three large dogs. Once inside I can wonder around slowly & throw balls so the dogs get a really good workout and go home very happy. I can't give it five stars only because I still have to have someone with me to help with the dogs as they have to be on leads until they are in the allocated paddock (understandadbly). If there was one paddock you could drive up to and put them straight through a gate all on my own I'd give it 10 stars.

Our first visit to Dog Adventure was brilliant. We chose a social session for our new rescue. As we are new to dog ownership we found the social session was really useful for us to understand how dogs play and behave. The session was supervised which was really reassuring. The paddocks are really lovely and very secure. We will definitely be back soon.

Taking our lab puppy to the Dog Adventure puppy socials is one of the best things we have done to get him to be a friendly and social dog! Always great attendance at the puppy, and now open play, sessions, allowing my lab to interact with a whole variety of different dogs! We particularly enjoy the breed specific sessions once a month also!Only downside at the moment (as I know Steve is working hard to improve facilities at the grounds) is that you have to pay in cash for the open play sessions only. I never have cash so have to actively remember to get some out to bring with me which isn’t as easy when you still have to book a space online.Other than that, we really enjoy using Dog Adventure and have made some great puppy and human friends from coming here!
