We took our dog here while on holiday in Saundersfoot. They were super helpful and fitted us in for an emergency appointment on a Saturday. Lovely vet!

As far as I am aware they continue to employ a large animal vet whose dog attacked another leashed dog off leash leaving it with injuries that he said he would treat at their home (I assume to avoid being reported) and then failed to attend a second time as promised.Weeks later his dog attacked and killed our cat, again whilst off leash, he left our cat under our car and left a note (which didn’t explain what had happened at all, just saying to call him).He didn’t make an effort to take the cat to the vets for treatment (2 minutes away) or even to be taken care of, when he spoke to me later he said he was running late for work, so he was going there anyway and made the decision to leave our cat dead under our car to be discovered by us.I would question the judgement of continuing to walk your dog off leash when it’s already attacked an on leash dog in the same estate, children frequently play where our cat was attacked and killed.Small animal vets were terrific in dealing with our cat once discovered, the way the large animal vet acted showed no compassion for animals whatsoever.

When we rushed in with a very poorly feral kitten we felt genuine urgency and care from the vet, who eventually saved his life against all the odds, and he is now thriving with his brother. The receptionist was friendly, kind and efficient.

Just moved back to the area. I went in with a very difficult and rare case. I had e mailed the history and condition before hand, the vet had done a lot of research before I arrived and was great. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. I will be registering my other 7 cats and dogs with them. I would highly recommend.

Whilst on holidays my dog became very unwell, very quickly at 11 o clock at night. I googled emergency vets in the area and Carmarthen Vet Centre came up. They were so helpful, they booked her straight in and we rushed her there. The vet on duty was brilliant, very thorough, caring and professional. She did blood tests to rule out anything untoward and luckily I was allowed to bring my girl home with medication. Thankfully, within 24 hours she was slowly getting better.I can't thank or recommend these vets enough.Amazing people!!

Found a juvenile pigeon early Sunday morning outside the house. It looked like a cat had taken a few swipes at it and had a little blood on one wing but no signs of significant injury. Phoned RSPCA first who suggested to give the bird some space and time to recover, then reach out to a vet or wildlife rescue if nothing changes. By the afternoon, no change. Couldn't find a wildlife rescue centre nearby so phoned Carmarthen Veterinary Centre in the afternoon. Fair dos... considering it's a small wild bird they said to bring it over straight away! The lady (sorry, forgot your name) I spoke to and on reception was fantastic. I left a donation too as there was no mention of cost for this and I was more than willing to pay towards treatment.I don't have pets but I'd highly recommend them if you do!

The Vet at this practice, wrongly INJECTED my 1 year old puppy with the Kennel Cough Vaccine, when it should have been administered via intranasal. He became seriously unwell within 2 hours and had to have emergency care for 3 days.It was so upsetting that a Vet had caused this trauma to my puppy. And even more upsetting when the Vet denied doing so, and lied!!!!!! Just wanted to make people aware more than anything with this review. I have now moved practices obviously, as the response from the practice was unsatisfactory and shocking.
