Small as garden and centres go and they lack the range of a larger site but all the basics are there. The plant range is expanding, the staff are friendly and offer great advice to would be plant hunters. In an area where the weather can be highly inclement it's great to have people who can advise on the issues and save you a lot of time heartache and money.I would have given another star, but the small site and lack of facilities etc wouldn't make that fair on other reports I've done.However, good friendly local garden centre, we'll be back!

Desolate, must have gone bust, the handful plants left are dead, I can imagine it is to be cleared and added to the builders yard ...shame !!!

Wensleydale Garden Centre
Excellent place. We were hunting wallflowers and they had them. Quite hard to find them these days so I was delighted. They had some wonderful seasonal hanging baskets on display and trays and trays of gorgeous pansies. Very helpfully had info to hand when I asked if wallflowers were popular rabbit food.

Well, we (me and my bestie) just happened to be exploring the Wensleydale Railway Station at Leyburn and spotted the adjoining Garden Centre!Accessibility:Parking in the yard and loos in the station. A bit of a tight squeezie in places. Some steps inside to one section.Owner very friendly and would happily fetch stuff.One of those places with nooks and cranies for exploring.Small, but worth a visit.
