Enjoyed a lovely meal here with the family. Their courtyard area is a lovely and quiet outdoor place to sit. The food was great. I had the truffle and buffalo mozzarella burger which was great. Their calamari was also super tasty. Overall, a nice restaurant to visit in the Colchester area.

Came for a meal a few weekends back and it was blown away by how lovely the restaurant was and that everything on the menu sounded amazing, it was difficult to decide but I went with the chicken alfredo tagliatelle and do not regret a thing. My partner ordered the oak smoked salmon penne which I also managed to get a bite of and that was just as good! For starter we also shared a balsamic vinegar and cheese garlic bread which was also to die for. Will 100% be returning

Food was really good. Restaurant was nice and quiet. Waiter was really nice and it wasn't too expensive. I had the spicy prawn and basil pesto penne which was so light,a little spicy and had more than enough prawns. We all enjoyed our meals.

Have been here before and while my food has usually been OK others in my group have had wrong food and other complaints. We came on 25th for a birthday, I told the server that I am lactose intolerant and she wrote it down and requested no dairy in my meal but when it came I discovered the was cheese on it and had been disguised by extra pasta! I told the waitress who then replaced my meal and gave me a free drink but I still had to pay for my main meal which I then didn't eat much of as I was put off. It wasn't the waitresses fault but think management need to think through there complaint resolving more
