A very nasty experience as all they do is follow a probably scripted procedure that sees the client/patient as a simple revenue or income source.Secondly, the idea of making you buy one service or product and above all discouraging you from using your own frame but rather thier overpriced, was simply annoying.

Complete shambles and complete failure of customer servicesGot served by 4 different people and found out they damaged my glasses and all gave different information.Most unorganised bunch of individuals and most unprofessional.Would highly recommend to run away at sight of Specsavers they are completely and utterly useless.

Not organised with time had to wait extra after my appointment on Wednesday. So in total I spend 1 hour 30 minutes for an eye test. Also still had to pay for the delayed scans. So am paying a bad service. The Store Director failed to change my experience! No compensation or goodwill gesture where offered. I guess it’s a lottery you might get a good service or not! Customer service and Healthcare need to be taken more seriously. I suspect the scan room was not cleaned and I experienced redness and irritation with my eye from lack of hygiene. I look forward if they bother to contact me and attempt to salvage this situation.

As a middle aged white lady, I will not be returning!! I’ve never experienced racism so badly!! I was ignored, made to wait ages. I’ve been using the store for over 10 years, I’ll find another Optitions in future. I want to feel like a valued customer, and treated with respect. I’m obviously the wrong colour to receive a decent service.

Absolutely awful experience. After 10 years of being a customer I am now leaving this store and going to somewhere where they know how to treat customers. Rang up boots and vision express and they seem so much more competent and welcoming. This store is extremely tight on staff, cannot handle when it’s busy and will often get your prescription wrong. Optician ‘refused’ to discuss the error, charged me for 6 months of lenses and refused to reimburse me. It’s a shame as I always ask to see this particular optician as out of them all he seemed quite friendly and have been visiting him for years. Not until yesterday he accused me of not being on the direct debit when I had signed up 2 weeks ago. I suggest they go back to to the phone call if they are recorded and hear where I said I want to be signed up. Seems like they didn’t bother updating their system. Optician also came out of the room and started arguing with me in front of customers. So unprofessional. I will update this review if I get an appropriate response. I’ve been in touch with the head office and store manager.

Although I had to wait for the 2 assistants to finish their conversation, it was clear that it was related to a shop issue, everyone was super helpful.I have never had an optician check a prescription 3 times before, because one of my eyes had improved so much. My new specs are great and that is down to the young lady who helped me choose my frame. She was so honest in her appraisal of the specs that I thought suited me.Brilliant!

I had got a red dot in my eye which scared me a lot. Very quick and easy to book an appointment even on a weekend! i had received excellent customer service from both the graduate intern who did my eye test as well the supervisor, both of them were professional and made sure i have my issues resolved. Fantastic experience overall ! thank you so much

Very happy with my eye test. Was greeted by a number of staff when entered the building, seen very quickly for eye test, was left to choose glasses at my own pace which I requested, very satisfied with the experience.
