Great site with great views. Wonderful friendly hosts with lots local information and fresh eggs! 5mins drive from the Park and Ride into the beautiful city of Durham. Great pub at the bottom of the hill. There is also a lovely farm shop and cafe 30mins walk across the fields with fantastic local produce including a butcher - best lamb steaks ever! Perfect.

Lovely, friendly and accommodating owners and a spot with lovely views. We had a fantastic meal at The Travellers Rest, fabulous coffee and cake at the farm shop.

One of the best hidden CLs. Beautiful sloping site, ( levelling blocks and ramp essential) with stunning open views over beautiful rolling land with stunning sunsets. Tony and Christine are superb hosts, personally greeting guests, and if your lucky , fresh eggs are available too !

Nice site with lovely views , the owners, Tony and Christine, were very accommodating and couldn't do enough to help , also the eggs Christine gave us from her chickens went down very well, handy site for Durham, the coast and also visiting inland. Overall a very pleasant stay. We hope to return.

Nice site, with good views, slopes so leveling blocks needed. Friendly owners, and popular. Good for visits to Durham as close to a park and ride, and easy reach to A1 (through Durham).

Great location with stunning views. The owner's met us on arrival and gave us information on the local area plus 6 free range eggs. In my view this is one of the best CL sites we have stayed on.

Great views, easy access, sloping field. Beautiful views. Very friendly owners, extremely helpful, lots of information. Given fresh eggs on arrival. Great for visiting Durham. Spent many times at this site and always sad to leave.

Very scenic CL surrounded by woods and hills. Chickens and horses as well.Spacious pitches. Friendly atmosphere and the owners are very welcoming.
