Stanley House Nursing Home

My mother was on an enhanced bed here toward the end of her life - was cared for entirely in her room. Really lovely, attentive and willing staff. Very affectionate to her, and very supportive to members of the family. Worked tirelessly to support her despite so many demands on their time and attention from other residents. A few minor mistakes/oversights prevent 5 stars, but can imagine these occur at most nursing homes, and would recommend.

My dad received end of life care for the last 3 weeks of his life at Stanley House. The staff treated my dad with respect, made him comfortable and supported him through this very difficult time. They also supported me and my mum, answering all of our questions and giving advice when we needed it. We received support from all of the staff and they made sure we had refreshments during the day.

Extremely good care home. First rate and attentive staff always friendly.

My Mum was here only for a matter of weeks before she sadly died. She was extremely well looked after by all the staff, and we know she was happy and comfortable. It was a very difficult time for all of us and as a family we cannot speak highly enough of the support that we also received as that family. Thank you so so much for taking such good care care of Mum. I would highly recommend Stanley House to anyone looking for an excellent Care Home, that goes 'above and beyond' xxx
