The Shipping Lanes

If i could give 10 stars i would! Trudi & Alan are the warmest and friendliest owners i have ever met. Arriving at Shipping Lanes was like arriving at my family home. The hotel is decorated with much love to detail and makes you feel comfy instantly. The room was immaculate and smelled lovely all the time i was in. It was nice and warm all the time and the view is just breath taking! I enjoyed my stay here to the fullest and will for sure come back another time. The breakfast is amazing and you wont lack a thing…every request is met by a compassionate heart. I fell like i have known them forever and even the residents know of their good reputation!

A lovely three day stay in morcambe, Rail trip, Walking distance from the station , What a lovely place to stay in ,we had the Shannon room.Ground floor ,Back of Hotel, Quiet/ The Decor , Staff , Room , Breakfast ! Praise only for this splendid place ,Close to Restaurants, Bus stops , Decent pubs , A walking distance away from ,THE PLATFORM , A Gig Venue, THANK YOU, SHIPPING LANES HOTEL ,

Loved having rooms named after Shipping Forecast...Fisher but also Plymouth...which for an Argyle supporter visiting Morecambe for Good Friday match is a lovely touch...lovely room...great hosts...gorgeous breakfast...weather is changeable...Thursday very choppy seas...Friday could not be bettered...

what an absolute gem of a hotel this is. from the minute we arrived we were met with a friendly warm welcome both from Alan and Trudi. and that continued throughout our stay till we left this morning. the hotel is in a perfect setting right on the sea front , so located close to everything you need and lovely views to look out the window from. the whole hotel has been decorated beautifully and tastefully and are spotless. and in the rooms they have put alot of thought to what they think people will need for their stay. and so many extras. including toiletries. ect and even a fan provided which i was very grateful for.the breakfast is superb. lots of choice i really enjoyed the choice of fruit and yogurt. and the cooked breakfast was really delicious and well cooked. and plenty of it.and when we came in at the end of the day we sat in the lounge with Trudi and Alan and even the dog was allowed there to sit and we had a few drinks from the bar during our stay and we chatted we were treated like family they were so easy going. its been an absolute pleasure to stay there and will definately be returning.again Alan and Trudi many thanks for a fabulous stay and the warm friendly hospitality you showed us all.love Yvonne. Wonderful bnb in Morecambe on the sea front, warm friendly hosts in Alan and Trudi and look after you making your stay a pleasant one, Wonderful cooked breakfast with cereal and fruit and yogurt and fresh juices available to help yourself to, great location, great bnb and good value for money.

We stayed here for the weekend. The hotel was lovely. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast excellent. Trudi and Alan were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel is great, not near loads of noise but near enough to walk to restaurants etc. along the promenade which runs directly opposite the hotel. The view from our window overlooked the sea. I would definitely recommend this lovely place. We will stay here again quite soon. Well done on one of the best B and B's we have stayed in.

We recently stayed at The Shipping Lanes Hotel with family and WOW! what an amazing hotel it is. Trudi and Alan are the greatest hosts and really can’t do enough for you. The hotel is spotlessly clean with impeccable decor and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Relaxing chairs to take in the fabulous views of the bay whilst having your morning coffee. Lovely bar area to relax. Food fantastic. Really can’t praise this hotel enough. Will definitely be visiting again.

I spent 4 nights here and I would thoroughly recommend a stay. My room was at the back of the hotel but it was extremely quiet. I will be back. Thank you
