Vets Now Worthing
I took my Dad's cat to the emergency out of hours last night and was originally told the cat had fluid around his heart and I should think about the possibility that I might need to put him to sleep.I was then told the cat was in an oxygen tank to help him breathe and to leave the cat there and they would call me in the night.Later last night the vet contacted me to say the cat was stable and had been given an injection to help with the fluid on his lungs.I questioned this when I went to pick the cat up and said to the vet, I thought the cat had fluid around his heart? Never got a response really to this question, only that they had been dealing with another emergency at the time. The vet then said the cat has heart disease and this causes fluid on the lungs, and would need to be seen by his vet in the morning.I found the vet very dismissive and thought it was strange that when I first went there, they just took the cat away and left me in the waiting room, I am used to going in and having a consultation and them asking about symptoms, as well as being there to reassure the cat.Anyway after a sleepless night, my Dad took the cat back to his normal vet today preparing himself to euthanize the cat only to find the cat has cat flu!!I am so upset and angry to be given such a misdiagnosis and after reading your reviews it appears I am not the only one to have a bad experience. If my Dad had listened to your vet, he could of possibly had the cat put to sleep last night. Thank god he did not listen and should you be interested which I expect you are not, the cat is now recovering well.My advice if you love your animals take them elsewhere. 1 star is far to generous of me, but unable to score less. I am still in shock that you even suggested putting the cat to sleep, when the truth is you did not have a clue what was wrong with him, you should of said that in the first place, rather than pretend you know.

My elderly dog has been under care for an infected growth on his leg which sadly burst, leaving him with an open wound and considerable pain. Yesterday (Saturday) it began to bleed and I was constantly changing the dressings. As the wound was now 2 by 2 inches I had no choice but to take him to an emergency vet. He was seen. Bandaged and given some tablets. The bandage fell off before we got home oh but we were offered the opportunity to return today and pay £190 for a new one! The wound is now larger and we are £400 down for the pleasure of this service which was basically nothing! My dog is still in pain, still has an open wound and despite doing my best to keep it clean and offer medication is actually now worse. This service is an exploitation for worried pet owners.

My dog was super sick. I was very frightened. Vets now took him in overnight and I felt he was in the best hands. The vet there ran me through all the tests they were going to do and I felt he was really well taken care of. The communication with my vets where he had to go for the following day was good too. I’m glad that I’m local to a 24hr vet because I don’t know what I would have done otherwise

I would NOT recommend using this company at all for emergency out of hours service for any pet! We usually use Grove lodge which has unfortunately passed emergency out of hours to Vets now" (which apparently are a completely different company but in the same building as grove lodge). Our dog had been with a pet sitter for 3 weeks whilst we were away on holiday and after us collecting him he was not himself for 4 days. We put it down to seperation anxiety that we had gone away. He was quiet which is not normal as he a VERY chirpy jack russell terrier for a 13 year old!

Misconduct!!! Misdiagnosis!!! Stay away if you love your pet!!!**Warning to Pet Owners: Be Cautious of Vets Now Clinic**I want to share my recent experience with Vets Now clinic to caution fellow pet owners about the potential pitfalls of seeking care there. On May 14th, my dog Luna displayed an unusual amount of vaginal discharge, prompting concern. Seeking expert guidance, I contacted our online vet via a video call, and their colleague recommended prompt in-person veterinary assessment due to possible pyometra, a serious infection.Acting on this advice, I took Luna to Vets Now clinic in Worthing. Despite Luna's sole symptom being discharge, I wanted to ensure her well-being, given pyometra's gravity. However, my experience at Vets Now was deeply troubling.Upon arrival, the vet suggested ultrasound and an immediate £5000 surgery for a very small open pyometra." Shockingly

Great informative vets, they did everything to help my cat recover from a seizure. The payment processe isn't very clear. The invoice email says I will receive a form to complete however I never received a form. I have put it through with my insurance and just hope for the best.

My little French bulldog Beau was so poorly. He stayed the night being cared for by Andreas & his team. We collected him on Saturday evening & he looked so much better. We are so grateful.

Terrible. Open wound which my vet had treated but was getting worse over the weekend, Over £400 to put a bandage on the leg of my dog which I could have done myself. Came off on the way home anyway. Wouldn’t commit to any treatment. Complete waste of money…….
