We had heard great things about here so were keen to try. Our table was right by the kitchen so there was a near-constant stream of staff squeezing past our table and not so relaxing. The food was nice but didn't match the hype we had heard about it. Service was good and friendly. Each dish cost about £3-4 more than what I feel it should have. Also, taken aback by £7.50 for a pint of lager!

We had the most incredible meal for my 30th birthday, the staff, food and general place was just incredible. We couldn't fault it. A special thanks to Nicky, who went through the whole menu with us and was so attentive.Our first time in the Peak District - we cannot recommend this place enough!

Came here for the first time after a long time wanting to. Lived up to expectations, authenticly cooked Italian/Sicilian dishes and great atmosphere too. The recommendations were great too. Parking nearby.Wanted to leave another review for 3rd visit. Once again fantastic food and service. 5* all the way.

Absolutely amazing to say the least! We came here tonight (6 of us) and everyone one of us were amazed by how excellent the food was.Honestly I needn’t say anymore other than trying this place is an absolute must.

I’ve not enjoyed a trip to New Mills as much since Glossop North End smashed the millers in the FA Vase many years ago.The food was incredible. Easily the best, most authentic Italian dining experience we’ve had since we were in Italy 4+ years ago.Staff were as friendly as anything too.All in all a wonderful wonderful experience.

This place deserves nothing less than 5 stars. Literally like a slice is Sicily has been transplanted to the Peak District. Service was friendly, attentive, and truly helpful. Atmosphere was convivial and cosy. And the food… unparalleled. A true jewel of a restaurant.
