This company seemingly has a monopoly over the rooflight manufacturing and installation business in the UK, and they certainly behave like it. My rather poor experience with them spans over two periods.2022: During my house renovation, my move-in date was delayed due to Glazing Vision continuously pushing back the installation. The original installation date was for May, the weeks turning into months. They gave as little as 1 weeks notice when rescheduling, while leaving me to dry in my temporary accommodation. Finally, October comes around and the rooflight is installed, months behind schedule.August-October 2023: 10 months later, the rooflight ceases to open. Glazing Vision is slow to send electricians, and in total takes 2 months to fully fix an issue that began less than a year after the original installation. Shortly afterwards, the rooflight inexplicably closed on me, leaving my cat and I stranded on the roof. When asked for an explanation, the company shrugged.?? 2023-2024: Due to the poor reliability of this company, I'm anticipating further issues to arise. I'm experiencing some buyer's remorse, especially considering the high price of the rooflight. I am hoping there will be no further problems with this high-maintenance and seemingly fragile product.

Thank you very much indeed to Glazing vision in Diss! I've recently had a flush glaze roof light installed on my new rubber flat roof & I'm very, very happy with it. What a fantastic product!Matt & Jimmy in particular went out of their way to help out and answer all of my queries. What a great team & I'm so pleased I found a brilliant company 20 minutes from home!

From purchase to delivery and then support where needed, Glazing Vision were amazing the whole way through. The window quality is brilliant, the company staff very professional and helpful and the overall look of the product is exactly what we wanted. We the 2x1 metre non opening rooflight went in just like the instructions on the website stated. The only thing we needed to check with the after sales support was the way the flashing fitted. The tiles in the images on the website are all very thin and the Marley tiles fitted to our roof meant the flashing at the bottom of the window had to be adjusted to suit the slightly thicker tile which left a trough where water collects. Not an issue as its not much water and it fills to a point and runs down the rest of the roof. A pro roofer an easily get around the issues.

After some issues with the glass failing safety checks & being made to the incorrect thickness the installation via crane was excellent - done & dusted within 2-hours

We absolutely love our Glazing Vision roof light. It looks so contemporary and is a really WOW feature! The company were so friendly and professional and we would not hesitate to recommend them (or install the product in any future houses). We love the connection the roof light provides to the outdoors as well as the light it provides. The roof light has been installed over a year now and is excellent quality. Thank you.

We’ve been delighted with the service provided by Glazing Vision. Both Matt and Connor have been really good at answering our numerous questions and in supplying detail drawings. They were very accommodating re the delivery for fitting by RoofPro who’ve been equally good with the rooflight. We’re delighted with the rooflight.

We recently used Glazing Vision to supply and install a multi-part flushglaze skylight in Aug 2022. The sales process was great - Kelly was extremely helpful, informative and patient and we felt confident in what we were purchasing. However, we experienced several problems we'd like to make others aware of.One thing to note upfront is the excellent people who helped sort our issues quickly & effectively. Kelly (Sales), Jimmy (Head of Operations for Glazing Vision) and Chris (our first site surveyor) who were friendly, collaborative and supportive throughout. We are grateful for your help in resolving our issues so a big thank you to you all.First, Glazing Vision sell the sky light but their sister company Glazing Renovations are the ones who do the site measure and installation. Glazing Renovations have health & safety requirements which Glazing Vision didn't make clear to us from the outset, requiring us to spend more money to abide by. This included installing edge protection within 2metres of the sky light installation area, and hiring a tower platform to match the opening of the sky light to act as fall protection (and help get the sky light up into position). I wasn't annoyed by the HSE requirements, but by the surprise costs that only came up when we had the site survey performed and conveniently, after the deposit had been paid.Second, we had issues with the fall on our upstand which needed fixing, but changing the fall had a knock on impact to the span of the rooflight. If we were engineers perhaps it would have been obvious, but we wished we were properly informed of this at our site survey because the rooflight was basically shorter than what it should have been on the wall abutment side.Third, there were a few other issues noted in the final site survey which the surveyor didn't communicate when he was physically on-site. Rather, we found out 2 days later when our project manager emailed with a list of things to be remediated before installation. We wished the surveyor told us at the time, as our builder was on-site and could have addressed them straight away. It made us question why we bothered paying £500 for a pre-install site survey in the first place..Fourth, the communication from our project manager felt poor and unclear on email and getting a hold of him on phone was difficult. This was vastly different to the sales process which was fun, fast and easy to understand. Finally, we paid £1k for installation, but you need your own builders to bring the skylight into the house and up onto the roof for the installation team. This feels poor value, but then you are stuck between a rock and a hard place because if you don't pay for installation, your warranty period is reduced from 10 to 2 years.Overall, I would only recommend customers use this company because it (1) Offers a specialist product that no competitor can, which you need for a particular performance requirement or creative vision you have or (2) Is the most competitive pricing you can find in the market. In terms of recommendations, we suggest that:1. Glazing Renovations provide their own equipment to comply with HSE requirements and build this into the cost of the service (we note that Glazing Renovations do have their own tower platforms and when they turned up and saw our extension, felt it was more effort to put up the edge protection than it was worth, so didn't even bother...LOL)2. Include a lifting service into the price of installation (or at least offer it for an uplift)3. Both companies tighten up comms & operational requirements between them so that customers are properly informed of what they need to do / pay for from the outset4. Rationalise the Salesperson and Project Manager roles so you deal with the same person from start to finish. For us, the Project Manager role was otherwise someone who moved information between Glazing Vision and Glazing Renovations but who did nothing to actually help our situation.Final note - our sky light is beautiful now that the drama is over.

I purchased an rooflight from glazing vision. Sales team were fantastic. They gave great advice and guidance along with all the required details of the upstand. The delivery was late due to some manufacturing problem however Kim kept me informed. The product itself is excellent. Would recommend this company and product without hesitation.
