Took my bike there for a routine service. Came back worse with a flat tyre and a snapped chain within 5 mins of riding it. Poor customer service as well. Avoid these cowboys go somewhere else for your bike service.

Service and staff very good.Called in from cumbria with a battery prob.Accepted it needed replacing and was told about £130 and was happy to pay for fitting. Told would be about one hour so left it with them.Bill was £206 shocker when I returned as the battery replaced was start stop.Had to accept as needed to drive 80miles home but wish I could of been warned of the cost and refusing to pay was not a optionD morrey

Richard was brilliant and rang to ask if we could attend our appointment a little earlier. No problem. We left our car to Richard to fit Nextbase dual camera to our vehicle.We returned back, and all the work was done to our satisfaction. Richard explained everything to us regarding different ways things worked. I would certainly recommend Halfords and Richard to me family and friends.

Poor customer service back and forth with phone calls about damage to bike. Wouldn't send a photo and couldn't replace. Offered only 10% discount which wouldn't replace the handle bat that is damaged. I had no choice but to take the bike. Still dealing with this now in a complaint. Should be an easy process and no damage to a new product.

Fantastic experience at Halfords Silverlink yesterday. Cam and his colleague were so helpful. 10point service. No charge. Water filled up. Polite. Friendly. Courteous. Previous experiences with this Halfords branch have always been great too. Will definitely go again for. Thanks to Cam.

Great service from second I stepped into the silverlink store. I asked if they were doing fittings today, was told yes what was I looking for, a very helpful guy helped me find the bulb I was looking for. Went to till and the same guy then came and fitted it, may have just been good timing as the guy had said it had been busy. Great service thank you

“Big rich” Richard who works at North Shields Halfords was brilliant in helping me today replace my headlights and back windscreen wiper. He even informed me of the little check they do with your car and inform you of anything that needs replaced in my case was my windscreen wiper. Outstanding customer service and really nice guy.

Staff member took 15 mins to check in stock room for item. (Car seat) Not in stock but no out of stock sticker on sales floor. Item was then ordered but only because I asked. The man wasn't interested in retaining the sale. It was a Friday and was told it should be in Monday but regardless I would be contacted when it arrived. After 8 days I rang the customer service number and was told it had been in for several days. Lady confirmed my contact details were correct so no reason for lack of contact. No apology offered.Upon collection I asked why I hadn't been contacted and the lady didn't know and also didn't offer any sort of apology. I had purchased a car seat and was asked a few questions about age of child and type of car it was being used in and was asked to sign the bottom of a form. When I asked what I was signing for the lady actually tutted and said it was to say I'd collected and it hadn't been fitted by them. I was never offered a fitting service, I was never asked if I needed advice and I wasnt asked if my car has ISOFIX. These are questions on the form that she had ticked without asking!!!All in all, the customer service level in this store from two members of staff has not been of any standard and the stores procedures quite clearly aren't being followed.It saddens to say I won't return to this store and will purchase car related items elsewhere in future.

Battery fit. As always the staff were friendly and helpful and the job was done in quick time, however I paid to have battery fitted as recommended because of programming for stop/start but car did not need it and I could have fitted it myself for free.
