Danny from By the Fire is very knowledgeable and gives excellent advice. From ordering our fire and having it fitted was very quick. The installers did an excellent job too after making the area good ready for our log burner. Could not fault the service and would thoroughly recommend Danny.

Very pleased with our new gas fire. Removal of old fire and installation of replacement was done in a clean and efficient manner. Would recommend No1 Fires to anyone wanting a gas fire installed.

We needed to replace our woodburner surround and Danny and his fitter (John) were amazingling competent. A problem was discovered when John came to replace the surround. To cut a long story short, we decided to change the woodburner. Danny recommended one and John removed the old woodburner, got all the vermiculite out from the chimney, replaced the fireplace lining and fitted the new woodburner. John's craftsmanship and workmanship was incredibly impressive - he is a 'legend'! We are so pleased with the new woodburner and lining. Impressive company and a pleasure to do business with.

Very happy with the install from Dan and his team. I had no previous experience with stove installations, and Dan was very helpful throughout the process, answering all my questions even before I had agreed to proceed with No1 Fires. The end result has been amazing and it’s completely transformed our living room. To anyone looking to get one installed, I’d highly recommend to No1 Fires.
