I have been working for Right at Home Portsmouth for 4 years now and have to say that I absolutely love my job and wouldn't want to be doing anything else. To be able to assist our lovely clients with their daily routines is amazing, it's so rewarding to know that you make a difference and that you are helping to provide the care they need in their own home.Right At Home have always been very supportive of me, are always there if you need anything. We have a wonderful team of caregivers who support each other. I would definitely recommend working for this company, I'm sure like me you won't look back.

Lovely company to work for! I have worked for Right at Home Portsmouth as Care Coordinator since August and am really enjoying it. All the team are very supportive and always willing to help. The carers are amazing and it is an all round, lovely, family run business to work for. The aim is to go the extra mile and the staff really do! RAH looked after my mother for three years. The ladies who visited were always professional, reliable, kind and caring. My mother enjoyed their visits and looked forward to them coming. We very much appreciated all they did for my mother. The company is well run with a good support team in the office.

I came to work for Right at Home after working 6 months as private live in carer. When I knew that was coming to an end, I started looking around for work. Friend recommended RaH to me, and after learning more about company I got in touch, and was really happy to find they had a live in position locally. I have found RaH supportive and always helpful if I need any support with anything from work to training.

I discovered Right at Home at the beginning of the COVID lockdown whilst looking for work. Right at Home Portsmouth have been fantastic in giving me all the support and training I’ve needed to change my career and the clients have made the job so rewarding. It was an unexpected career change but one I’ve loved and so happy and proud to say I’m a care giver for Right at Home Portsmouth.

My lovely dad devoted most of his life looking after others, mentally, physically and emotionally. He was always there, a huge presence. When he needed care we were there, I was there but ultimately it wasn’t enough so my search for the next best thing started.During lock down I was fortunate enough to meet someone who worked for Right at Home whilst out walking my dogs. Her enthusiasm and professionalism were inspiring and infectious. I also have a friend who had worked for R@H. I would trust my life with her, her mantra is ‘deliver unto others as you would wish for yours.’ That was good enough for me!My dad deserved the very best and Right at Home met my exacting and discerning standards. When I met the Care Manager I wasn’t disappointed. My one in a million dad was always going to be accommodating. He was so happy I’d have help and he was over the moon my mum approved- a tough one. Personally I was very impressed with the ‘no stranger’ policy R@H have adopted. It’s rare in the Community to know for sure who is visiting, delivering care and their arrival time. The Care Manager kindly offered to visit, in her own time, when I bathed my dad to learn ‘the ropes’ - another first in my experience. So reassuring, comforting and professional. I knew my dad was in the safest, kindest, trustworthy and caring hands possible. If he was happy, I was happy. If I was happy, my family was happy.R@H were very accommodating as more care was requested. Documentation was thorough and informative, the carers were observant promptly reporting concerns to my mum and myself. My dad so enjoyed his time with his carers, Covid meant he couldn’t see his friends, challenging times for so many. One constant was the unstinting support from R@H. It’s impossible to put into words the relief I felt knowing he was receiving the best care possible.If I have regrets it’s that I was not able to introduce my lovely dad to R@H much sooner and more poignantly that he’s not still here to enjoy their TLC.My legend of a dad was the best, just as you lovely people at R@H are.Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The company is very good to work for the management look after there employees and the clients.It’s an all rounder caring job personal care, cooking, cleaning and companionship. There belief is to go the extra mile.Flexible hours great training and a good friendly supportive team.

Having never worked in care before, I was nervous of what to expect. I’ve heard many horror stories. RAH welcomed me with open arms. Full training was given and 24 hour support available. I enjoy going to work and helping others in their own homes. Our clients are so lovely.RAH are very accommodating and so appreciative of their team, I never experienced that before so very welcome. Best job I’ve ever had ❤️ Bonus is that I can chose my hours to work around my family.Great full for the opportunity.

I would unreservedly recommend Right At Home to provide support within the home. They have supported my brother who has dementia for several months and I have always found them to be both caring and professional in their approach.
