Staff a really friendly and took the time to give advice. The store is really big with Aircon and clean. There's a very wide range and it is quite organised. The only downside is that the retro section didn't have much to offer.

I traded in an item here. The staffbwere great, really friendly and helpful. They had checked my item within an hour and paid me what they had agreed so it was a dead simple transaction. I would be happy to use them again should I need to sell anything.

Decent service and good trade in price to trade unwanted stuff for other stuff

OK, for a few things, if you can bear the smell. Selling things...they test it, however returning something (they supposedly test everything they buy?) they test it again.Even if you bought it earlier that day, or the day after. How are supposed to test it in the shop? Not very impressed.

Absolutely joke of a place. Bought a playstation 4 yesterday and the pad was broken. Also i purchased the wrong game yesterday and was told at the time of purchase any issues I could return and get a full refund. When I returned today less that 24 hour later with full receipt and the wrong game not even touched I was told of the manager that I could only be given a refund in store voucher. When trying to explain what I was told yesterday the store manager rudely and aggressively told me that I have just told you you can get a store voucher. She then went on to verbally abuse myself and my partner. The way the store manager Chloe spoke to myself and my partner I wouldn't speak to a dog like that. I have always made my purchases from CEX and after the way I have been treated myself and all my family will never spend a penny with CEX again unless this is resolved which judging by the mangers customer service there isn't much hope of that. Avoid store at all costs.

This store missed out on a near £1000 sale of an iphone 13 pro max due to their judgemental policy to not let customers handle phones, even though I put my own phone and wallet on the counter as security for them to hold, they said no. Took my custom and money elsewhere and purchased the phone I wanted for my daughter. Popped back into the shop and shown them my new phone purchased and felt good doing so. Their loss not mine.

Went to the till to purchase Sims 1. The lady at the till did not communicate with me and I noticed her putting the Sims 1 disc inside the cover and then change it for a Sims 2 disc. I eventually asked her what she was doing as this was the incorrect item with no communication, for her to reply with it's the only one we have in stock". She said she couldn't help so I left the shop without my item. I wouldn't mind if she had said this to me beforehand

Great store, fair prices, absolutely lots of products, if CEX doesn’t have it then it doesn’t exist.. but sadly the most miserable staff I’ve ever seen, makes you not wanna visit
