Booked car in for an MOT and service. After dropping the car off on a Monday, the team were quick to diagnose and let me know what the problems were that needed fixing (brake pipe replacement and 2x tyres and a couple of service bits). I asked how much the cost would be but they were unable to tell me at the time. Called again after not hearing anything by Wednesday, they explained they were very busy but it should be done by the end of the week. Again, after asking about the expected price, the person on the phone was unable to tell me. Finally collected the car on Friday and was given a bill of £518, which is a lot of money to expect someone to pay without warning or specifically agreeing to prior to the work being done.I am happy with the physical work that was done, but really would have appreciated updates about the timings and cost which ended up being a couple hundred above expected.

I’ve had several cars serviced at Wrights. The personal advice and attention to detail is almost old fashioned. They may not have smart lounges and “free” coffee but a great team of dedicated professionals I am pleased to recommend them .

The staff at wrights motor garage. Could not be more profesional. from the receptionist (tracy) to mark. and john the owner. Not only did they do my repair - fitted a sensor in half a day which involves removing the bumper on a BMW but the price was far less than I was quoted by the Dealer. Well done team john.
