Had occasion to call to DM during my LeJOG solo cycle in Sept 2023. My brakes had developed a loud squealing and I had tried everything to rectify the situation. It just needed an expert to sort it out.While passing through Clydebank on a Friday morning I located DM Cycles. Dave immediately set about investigating the problem and sorted it out. But also he was most helpful in explaining the procedure in fitting and adjusting brakes. Got me on my way again (and got me to stop when necessary ) and not another squeal all the way to John O Groats.Thanks Dave; much appreciated.

My highest recommendation for this service.I've walked in, first time ever at DM Cycles, been welcomed by David straight away. Short description of what's going on with my bike and my gravel was taken for a treat.I can tell that David is surely a bikes fanatic and a solid solid bike mechanic. He is going an extra mile when putting things on a right track.My bike was well looked after beyond my expectation and was ready the next day (nice surprise).I was super happy and came back shortly with my second bike, full suspension for a service zero - I had problems with squeeky pivots and all sorts od cracks heard and other things. Again my bike was looked after with care and complexity. I am not super clued up in bikes, I've an older Norco hardtail bike. Genuinely thought the bike needs to be replaced, nothing worked right, riding was a total chore lately. Didn't want to spend millions on a new one. My husband took it to the repair shop and now my bike rides like a new one. It's a new bike experience. It was slightly rusty and worked heavily, gears were completely not working, breaks ,sqeeks-all of that gone. Silence and a joy to ride now. I am so happy, thank You!

I was a little bit hesitant, as I don't like going to new places with my bike, but now I'm so happy I went!My bike was in such a bad shape that was making riding a total chore. It isn't any new bike.I've left it there for a couple of days and I am astonished with the results. It basically rides like a new bike now. There was problems with breaks, gears, pedals, wheels - it was totally bashed. Now - it rides like a dream! And it's washed and looks much better. On top of that, there was a selection of pedals, tyres and chains - so there was no need to order and wait for the parts. Everything very reasonable prices.
